Location, Style and Value - The north end is arguably the best Location on the ranch for visitors! It's closest to the town of Gualala with it's shops, markets and eating/drinking establishments. Originally built for an empty nest couple, The Bluffs at Sea Ranch is perhaps the perfect place for a loving couple to reignite their passion. The professionally designed interior is fresh, light-filled and private featuring our signature look with antiques and contemporary furnishings in a modern playful mix. You will appreciate the high quality bedding, pillows and comforters, an updated kitchen with commercial stainless steel appliances, Master Chef cookware, Wusthof knives and all the goodies. Separate laundry, viewing deck, covered patio, private fenced yard, and inviting Jacuzzi spa with views of the Pacific round out the ample amenities.
The two-level master suite encompasses the majority of the second floor. Lounge with your favorite book on the 10-foot window seat and enjoy seasonal whitewater ocean views and glorious sunsets. Then step down to the spacious bath area for a sumptuous soak with the sounds of the crashing waves to help sooth away your worries. The massive California king size bed invites restful slumber with a super high-end Aireloom 'Super Feather Bed' mattress. The second bedroom is located on the ground floor and has access to its own private garden and patio. It's cozy and comfortable and great for extra guests. In addition, on the second floor, is a lofted niche with a full size bed that looks out upon the Sea Ranch Golf Links and acres of natural land on one side and the ocean on the other. The perfect place to escape from someone who snores!
Downstairs living spaces are compact and not appropriate for larger groups or gatherings. Occupancy is limited to 4, no exceptions.
With panoramic ocean views from nearly every window, and acres of wilderness to the east the property is adjacent to Gualala Point Regional Park and the town of Gualala the convenience and walk-ability are unsurpassed. The bluff trail along the ocean side of the property serves as your gateway to the great blue Pacific.
Designed and sited to take advantage passive heating and cooling from Mother Nature, you'll enjoy soothing benefits of radiant floor heating with no drying forced air to stuff up your sinuses. The Bluffs at Sea Ranch is a self catering unit. Expendables are not included. Gas for the BBQ is up to our renters. We supply the BBQ and tanks you take a tank into town for a refill as needed. If you're a good person, you'll leave enough for the next visitor.

All Sea Ranch roads, most facilities, and most trails are private, for use only by owners, renters, and their guests, but visitors who rent our vacation home in the Sea Ranch are considered to be guests of the home owner and, as such, are permitted to use the private facilities and trails of The Sea Ranch. This property is not set up for abalone diving.

About John Matthes
A transplant to Pasadena from San Diego, John relocated in 1989 to attend Art Center College of Design where he was awarded a Master's of Fine Art degree.
John is an expert in marketing historic and architectural properties and holds his fiduciary responsibility to his clients in the utmost regard. With real world experience as the founder and principal of Carciofi and Jinglehyme, he successfully united residential real estate development and interior design; bringing revitalization to local neighborhoods and blighted historic properties through thoughtful renovation and redevelopment. John is the 2014 Winner of the Historic Preservation award for the city of Pasadena. He also owns and manages short term vacation rentals in Pasadena, San Diego and Sea Ranch.
John's prior tenure in the marketing and communications wing of the global institutional investing giant The Capital Group Companies, allowed him to develop broad knowledge of printed and digital media. With this knowledge, he has developed sophisticated marketing tools and programs for selling homes in all economic climates.
A long term resident of the Arroyo, John currently resides in Linda Vista and has had stake in properties located in Prospect Park, San Rafael, South Orange Grove, South Lake, Eagle Rock, The Sea Ranch and San Diego's East Village. He is an active member Pasadena Heritage and The Legacy Circle, a group of Art Center alumni dedicated to raising funds for student scholarships.

We are now departing your beautiful house. Don't get overcharged for cleaning as my wife gets obsessed by these things and it is nearly spotless.
Regarding the bad review on your kitchen: I say those people can't cook and don't know what is in front of them. I never opened my knife set. I will go on the site and counter that mindless post.
