Relax your days away on our quiet, private, sandy beach gazing at the stunning Caribbean Ocean with a margarita in one hand and your favorite book in the other. Experience living in the only one-bedroom corner unit for rent at Residence Reef where you’re surrounded by two full walls of floor-to-ceiling windows and an extra 125 square feet of wrap-around deck. Enjoy one of our two private pools, or hang out at the roof-top solarium. World-class dive sites are just minutes away with a quick pickup on our private dock. Rest well at night knowing you are in a gated community with 24-hour security on-site.
My sunny corner unit features both ocean and pool views, has 69 U.S. television channels, FREE U.S. telephone calling and wireless internet (bring your laptop). Our full-sized kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is fully equipped. All you supply is the food and the beer. You’ll have a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and comfy sleeper-sofa in the living room. All this picture is missing, is you.
The beach is very private and quiet, however if you’d like a more party atmosphere, Carlos and Charlie’s is a short 150 yards down the beach. You’ll also find parasailing, jet skis, mountain climbing, massage, shopping, hair braiding. Horse-back riding and even camel riding is available a few miles South of your condo.
A short drive to the colonial town of San Miguel provides excellent restaurant choices from Thai to Italian. Enjoy shopping, museums, swimming with sting rays and dolphins or the island’s premiere golf course.
In short, Cozumel has something to offer EVERYONE!

Born and raised in Colorado, I have spent my life traveling and diving the world. I have a wonderful family and feel richly blessed with the wonderful people I have in my life.
Laura purchased this condo in 2005
I first came to Cozumel 25 years ago for diving and fell in love with the place then. I remember saying to myself then, 'I'd love to have a home here someday.' Well, dreams really do come true. I was able to buy this beautiful condo 5 years ago and have loved it ever since. I was born and raised in Colorado. Now I spend my winters in Cozumel and Summers in the mountains of Colorado. Life couldn't be better.
This is the only one-bedroom corner unit available for rent here at Residence Reef. With two walls of solid window, and a wrap-around deck, the condo is sunnier and feels larger than other units. We have plants on the deck for privacy, but the views and open feel are wonderful.
The corner unit is light and breezy ... the second floor view makes you feel like you are floating on air. The wrap around balcony opens the whole place up. Wonderful filtered light comes thru curtains, just right for reading when you just cannot play anymore. Air conditioning and all fans, frig, electrical in perfect order. Many fun things to do ... just walk for miles down the beach to visit one beach club after another.
So much more than we even imagined!! This beautiful condo was a dream come true!! Laura's condo is on the second floor, which is perfect because you have complete privacy, but you don't have to lug your groceries up to the third floor. Plus, it's a corner unit and the living room has two walls of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Our friends had a condo on the third floor in the middle of the building and it felt half the size and much darker than Laura's. It is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We watched the most spectacular sunsets from the spacious balcony. We also watched the sunsets on the solarium rooftop. The view was amazing. Laura was wonderful to work with and answered every question we had. We love her and love the place. Absolutely will return here!
While we occasionally revisit a vacation area, we rarely return to the same location and have never stayed in the same spot until now. Laura makes the process of renting easy and she strives to make her guests comfortable. Fresh flowers awaited our arrival - a nice touch. The larger corner unit is decorated in bright colors providing cheery surrounds. The bed is very comfortable.
The amenities at RR are great. There is always room at one of the pools. In prime season the beach can be full, but never crowded. Folks come here to relax and that is exactly what we did! You'll need a car to enjoy the sights of the island and to visit the many restaurants and shops in town.
This condo was great. Second floor, ocean view, pool view. There are 2 pools both about the same distance from the condo. Nice newer kitchen. Bed was good. Bathroom was nice and big. Caught the dive boat on the pier every morning. Probably should rent a car if you are planning on going into town much. The condo owner was extremely helpful as well.
This was such a great pick for vacation. Snorkeling right from the beach in front of the property was great, boat pickups for diving from the dock next door, parasailing and other activities right next door, yet quiet, peaceful and cool sleeping at night. The balcony with the view of the ocean, palm trees and beach was fantastic! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
The condo was just as described and pictured. This was our first time staying on the island and we weren't sure whether to stay in town or not. This was perfect for us. Laura was so helpful....we spoke via email and a few times by phone! She was very reassuring and told us everything we needed to know to make a good choice and we definitely did. I would not stay anywhere else.
The condo is about 10 miles south of town on a lovely stretch of beach with several high-end resorts surrounding it. We were grateful not to be in the hectic downtown area. We had a car from Thrifty and had no problem with them or navigating the roads - beware of the taxi drivers though.
The condo was perfect for the two of us but it can accommodate two others. The bathroom, with double sinks and walk-in shower were great. The bed was very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in. We watched several movies that Laura provided and if I stayed again would bring a few more. We couldn't get the TV stations while we there due to a faulty part which was on order but we didn't miss it at all. The only thing we wanted was weather reports so instead we woke up and looked out the window :)
The grounds are immaculately kept. One of the pools was being re-tiled and is going to be beautiful but the other was always available and never crowded and it looked right out onto the beach and ocean - heavenly. The beach was very nice and plenty of beach chairs in the sun or shaded by the many palm trees. It is a bit rocky at the entry so wear water shoes. There is a fresh water rinse tank for the divers and an outside shower by the pool which was greatly appreciated.
We did our dives with Aldora Divers and they picked us up at the Aura Pier right next door. They were awesome and I’ll add a review for them on TripAdvisor.
We visited Mr. Sanchos on our surface interval stops and this would be a great way to spend the day. We also did the loop around the island and stopped to see the alligator refuge, light house (yes all 135 steps) and the beach which was gorgeous. This would be another great place to spend a day. We ate at Margaritaville and Hooters in town - both pretty overpriced but the food was good. Our favorite place to eat was the Money Bar. We ate lunch and two dinners and were not disappointed with anything. There is also great snorkeling right out front of the bar and a perfect place to watch the sunset.
A perfect week and we hope to visit again!
Right on the beach, 100 yards north of San Francisco Beach. Minutes from all the great dive sites. Carlos n' Charlies, Paradise Beach just a 3-minutewalk down the beach.
