Hammondsport Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)
Our cottage provides three bedrooms with twin beds sleeping a total of 6 people (we recommend 5 adults as a maximum, since our small bedroom is fine for 2 children, but not 2 adults.)
A central family room includes a gas fireplace, couch and chairs for listening to the satellite radio, watching TV or admiring the beautiful lake views. Double-doors open onto the long screened porch with dining tables and chairs and additional lounging area. The bathroom is new with a nice shower and heat lamp and the kitchen is new (2013) with everything you'll need.
A large dock has a table and benches that seat 8-10 people. From the dock there is a sturdy ladder for access to swimming or there are just 3 steps down to our level shale beach with chairs and a fire pit. There are two kayaks and a canoe, if you'd like to take a paddle.
A private driveway brings your vehicle down to a 2-car parking lot next to the cottage and unloading is easy with just four steps up to the cottage entrance.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our cottage every year since we purchased it. Our friends, children and grandchildren often join us for relaxing summer days and we enjoy the spring time and fall seasons as well. Since we live in Fairport, NY, it's an easy trip to Hammondsport, where we can escape from our busy daily lives and the hectic world!
The area has so much to offer, especially with Hammondsport Village just a one mile trip and offering several restaurants, pubs, antique shops, banks/ATM's, gas stations and a grocery store. There are six wineries within 30 minutes or less, two golf courses and the Windmill Farm and Craft Market are all nearby.
The view across the lake waters to the mountains behind is just spectacular. We spend most of our time on our screened porch or deck (when we're not swimming, fishing, boating or taking a day trip to the many wineries or other local attractions.)
