Come and relax at our home in Wintergreen! Built in 2006, it is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, 100 yards from the Chestnut Springs playground, pavilion and swimming pool. It is also located just minutes from skiing, tubing and snowboarding. The house is less than a mile from the state-of-the-art Wintergarden Spa. We have a WPI pass that gives you access to all of the pools, the fitness center, golf courses and the tennis center.(fees where applicable) The house is ideal for one family or 2. There are 2 master suites, one on the first floor with a king bed and private bath and one upstairs with a queen bed and private bath. Your children will be very comfortable in one of the other 2 bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and the other with bunk beds. The kitchen is well-equipped for you to prepare a gourmet meal or you can enjoy one of the exceptional restaurants within minutes of the house. Sit out on the deck and have your morning coffee or enjoy the panoramic views!

We have just added a 40' flatscreen TV for watching your favorite movie or ballgame! For your convenience, we have stocked the house with a variety of books, games and puzzles, so if you don't want to get out, you can sit by the fire and have some great family fun! We also have wireless internet, so bring your laptop and stay connected while you are here. In the spring and fall, enjoy long beautiful hikes throughout Wintergreen or try out the activities at ''The Dome'' recreational area. The Dome offers bungee jumping,a zip-line, a mechanical bull, Wii gaming systems, pool tables, and bounce houses. Wintergreen offers something for everyone, no matter what time of the year it is!

Why the Owner Chose Wintergreen: : We built our home at Wintergreen in 2006 because of all of the wonderful family activities that Wintergreen has to offer in such a relaxing environment. The Unique Benefits of this House: Year Purchased: 2006 - Our home is in a unique area of the mountain, in that being on a cul-de-sac, we can let our children play outdoors and ride their bikes without fear of passing traffic. We have a lovely view of the valley from our back deck which provides a wonderful place to sit and relax or read a great book.

Owner Description/Comments:: We live in Raleigh, North Carolina and have 2 boys who love to visit our home at Wintergreen. We love to hike, ski, and play games while we are there. We are also big UVA fans, so being only 45 minutes from Charlottesville, we take in lots of UVA sports. We are season ticket holders for football and basketball, so be sure to ask us about tickets to a game if you are interested!

Wintergreen Vacation Home - In the spring and fall, take long hikes throughout Wintergreen or enjoy the activities at 'The Dome' recreational area. Notes: The house is stocked with high quality linens. We have cashmere blankets and warm and cozy throws to cuddle up with by the fireplace. We also provide you with an abundance of fluffy towels. The children's bunk bed room has a sitting area in their room with two bean bag chairs so they can play a game or watch a movie in their own room. We provide you with some basic supplies to get your started on your vacation...toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry and dish soap. There is also a market at Wintergreen to purchase any of these types of supplies.

Perfect Winter Break Getaway

This home was perfect for our moms and kids midweek getaway. At the last minute we decided to make the trip to Wintergreen during our Winter Break. Laura was very helpful getting us organized with the house at the last minute. The house was perfectly suited for our two families. It was new, very clean, and nicely decorated. We cooked in both nights, and the kitchen was well outfitted. We also enjoyed great sunny weather and fantastic skiing. The Plunge was one of our highlights. We would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Our family of six spent 4 wonderful days at Wintergreen and could not have asked for a more aptly suited home to stay in. We really took advantage of all that Wintergreen offers. We went skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, tubing, and took advantage of the passes to Wintergarden Spa for evening swimming and hot tubbing. The home had everything we needed to prepare meals and relax after a day of activities. The kids enjoyed playing games in front of the fireplace and slept in every morning in the very comfortable beds. The home is in a convenient location to both get to the resort as well as "get away from it" when the day's activities come to a close. We couldn't have asked for more and we're already tallking about our next trip to what the kids refer to as "their vacation house". Thank you Clark family!

Family Thanksgiving Holiday

We had a terrific time at Wintergreen. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. All furnished items were first class. No tattered or worn items. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items needed for a first-class holiday dinner for seven of us. The view from the deck was awesome and parking was not a problem. The owner made it very easy for our family to enjoy our vacatin without any paperwork problems. Everything stated on the website was accurate. We intend to stay there again in the new year for another family event. I highly recommend this property!

A lovely home with two master bedrooms, it was perfect for our family and grandparents for a Christmas vacation together. The family room is lovely with a fireplace and picture windows overlooking the mountains.. The kitchen is modern,and well-equipped for preparing meals.. The laundry area is right off the main entrance which gave our kids a place to remove ski clothes and boots. Very clean! Our family will rent this house again!!

Wonderful home

Beautiful home on a nice secluded drive on top of the mountain. Views of the surrounding area were stunning! The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen appliances, televisions, games and puzzles. Enjoyed listening to music while chatting with friends in front of the fireplace. Very near the hiking trails, great hikes!
