The property consists of 4 double bedrooms and 4 bathroom which is divided into two x 2 bedrooms & two baths villas, combined sleeping up to 8 adults. Furnished in upmarket tropical style and fully air conditioned and with ceiling fans in all rooms. Conveniently located for airport and shops.

Each villa has full kitchen and large lounge/dining areas, which lead onto an expansive sundeck for making the most of outdoor living and enjoying amazing sunsets.

The beautiful beach & safe, calm sea is great for using the kayaks or swimming and snorkeling. Even the off-shore cay can be easily reached! Afterwards, relaxing on our beach hammock just completes the day! Other activities such as boat trips, dive experiences, cave explorations can be arranged for guests who want to experience more of this quiet & tranquil island.

Questo è stata la nostra seconda e meravigliosa esperienza alle Bahamas, ospiti di Betty e Peter Oxley. Dopo Exuma e il Coral Sands, questa volta siamo stati ospiti della splendida Sunset beach Villa che Betty e Peter possiedono a Long Island. La casa spaziosa e confortevole e dotata di ogni comfort, si trova direttamente su una delle più belle spiagge dell'isola (Sunset Beach) e vi permetterà di godere dei colori incredibili del mar dei Caraibi. Betty e Peter, sempre gentili e disponibili vi spiegheranno tutto quello che di bello potrete godere di Long Island e vi affitteranno anche una macchina, indispensabile... per scoprire questa lunga e sorprendente isola. Consigliamo inoltre questa casa per la sua tranquillità e la sua perfetta posizione. Si trova infatti al centro dell'isola e vi permetterà di esplorare il nord e il sud senza percorrere ore di macchina. Siamo appena tornati ma abbiamo ancora negli occhi e nel cuore i sorprendenti colori del mare delle Bahamas, le bianche e soffici spiagge e già ci mancano...Arrivederci e grazie Betty e Peter... ci rivedremo sicuramente!!!
Raccomandiamo questa villa a tutti, soprattutto l'appartamento più spazioso.

Just like a Dream!

First of all we want to thank you so much for the kindness and hospitality you showed to us, we really appreciated that very very much, it made us feel even happier.

We safely arrived to our new location in Long Island. Your Villa is fantastic! Marvelous, no words to express our amazement! We think that not even in Beverly Hills you could find a villa so beautiful as this one.. Just like a dream.. So thank you so so much!

We just came in after some shopping to Salt Pond with the Jeep (I confess I had more fun in driving this one!). Food for the week, especially the necessary to try to imitate the delicious breakfast that Betty used to prepare for us. We will go out for dinner sometimes, but we definitely will enjoy the tranquillity and peace of this paradise house (this would have been another nice name for this place!)

My wife & I & our 3 boys (28, 26 & 24) stayed here for 10 nights. We loved Sunset Beach Villa in all respects. A modern, spacious villa with all the amenities you need. Right on a great beach with amazing sunsets. It's located in the middle of Long Island - perfect for exploring north & south ends of the island. Very laid back, peaceful & tranquil. We did beaching, swimming, snorkelling & scuba diving in extemely pretty & clear water.There are lot's of places to try for great food. We cooked our breakfast at the villa every morning & had lunches & dinners out. The inhabitants of Long Island are extremely friendly & accommodating. Our vacation at Sunset Beach Villa, Long Island could not have been better. We would go back in a heartbeat. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

A dreamlike vacation!

We've just returned from a dreamlike vacation on two Bahamas islands, Exuma and Long Island. Two real paradise islands! On both islands we stayed in apartments we personally rented on the internet(www.bahamasbeachapartments.com for Exuma and www.sunsetbeachvillabahamas.com for Long Island). The owners are an extremely nice English couple (Betty & Peter Oxley)who, since the beginning of our "deal" have been most helpful and kind, providing us with all useful infos. They even helped us with the flight transfer from Exuma to Long Island. Both apartment were cosy, smartly furnished, all comforts, in perfect condition and wonderfully located directly on the beach. We really loved staying there. The Sunset Beach Villa, in particular, is the perfect location for "The Vacation" once in a life one really has to enjoy! Miles and miles of white sandy beach just in front of the villa, no one disturbing you, deckchairs, kajaks and hammock at your disposal under the trees and a warm cristal clear water with plenty of fish!

Your first thinking, arriving to the "Sunset Villa", will be: why I have to spend my time visiting Long Island when I have my personal paradise just here, in front of me?
it's really a wonderfull location, romantic as well as luxury.
But nevertheless, it will be absolutly crucial to spend at least five days looking also to the several pretty and lovely beaches of Long Island and, first of all, to the famous Deans Blue Hall and to the Santa Maria beach (one of the tenth best beaches worldwide).
In addition let me suggest about what to do for taking the best from your holliday: you have simply to talk with your guests Betty and Peter, the best friends, guide and teacher you can find in Long Island.
Thanks to them you will be able to find the top beaches, restaurants, shops and amenites as well as to solve every trouble you could have.
To be in touch with the local habitants will be your biggest surprise; fun, spontaneus smile, upright life and grace are deeply inside them.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
