The Villa at Eastie overlooks the harbor and shipping channels, early morning lobstermen can be seen from the sunroom hauling their traps, as well as the ships coming to port. Plane bugs (id book) will love the spectacular view of Logan Int. Airport. At the end of the street is Constitution Beach. There are bicycles and kayaks for the adventurous or relax in the fountain garden. Smell the sea breeze and reminisce about the politics that must have been discussed in this former Senators home. Entertain in the formal dining room under the crystal chandelier or relax and read a book on one of the balconies overlooking the harbor. The Blue line(public trans) is only a few blocks away and offers a ride to the airport station and free shuttle bus to your terminal, a few more stops and you are downtown for world class shopping, restaurants, museums and the Swan boats ride. Arrange for a daylong antique 'pickers' tour and our driver will take you to the hidden spots where only the dealers buy.
We are close to all that Boston has to offer, either by car or public transportation.
The sheer size and location on Boston Harbor was one of the most attractive features that lured us to purchase the Villa. It's ease to public transportation connecting all the city has to offer without the need of a car, was a real game changer. The view from the sun porch and in the summer months having a glass of wine on the upper balcony is delightful while watching the planes come and go. It is similar to an orchestrated symphony.
Dear Madeline,dear Nelson
Thank you very much for letting us stay in your splendid home. The exclusive atmosphere, the great view and the comfortable beds really add to a great vacation experience. Today we are heading for Conneticut and we'll be back in about two weeks.
Thanks Again from the Baliss family & Dorando family
7 of us stayed at the Villa for Marathon weekend in Boston and it could not have worked out better. The house was perfect for a group of adults/couples, with plenty of space to spread out (and come together!). The Villa is beautifully maintained and had all of the amenities we were hoping for, including a lovely sun porch and rooftop deck for enjoying the water front. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and Nelson & Madeline were very helpful. We would highly recommend staying here!
Nelson and Madeline are truly lovely people who delivered a vacation property above and beyond our expectations. Attention to detail for travellers was a top priority for them as every amenity was available from kitchen to bedrooms and everything in between. House is beautifully decorated, beds are extremely comfortable, each room comes with robes and towels. You are right on the water! There are shops within walking distance for food and spirits. The Blue T (metro) is a two minute walk so no car is required. Blue T (5 stops) you are right in the thick of Boston. Boston folks are so hospitable and Nelson and Madeline are great Boston ambassadors. There is an information portfolio in the office that gives you information on local restaurants and metro maps etc. We would like to come back and see Boston in the Summertime and this property is going to be our number one choice. To summarize, location is aesthetically perfect, home is 5 star for amenities and you get the luxury hotel perks with 10 times more space. Thank you, Merci Beaucoup and Slante for a great stay during St Patrick's Day activities.

Absolutely loved this place. Great view, comfortable rooms. I stay in hotels about 1/4 of my life, this was such a refreshing change of pace.
We arrived late at night and Nelson was patiently waiting to show us around a spectacular home. The location was excellent, the T minutes walk away, the airport very accessible. The neighborhood was great, we joined in the Halloween trick or treating and found everyone fun and welcoming. A wonderful house is not enough if the area is lacking but this isn't. All local shops we attended were great, my favorite being Milano's Deli - a fabulous Texas steak sandwich.
The house has everything you need however a downstairs TV for family viewing at night would have been good (we have teenagers!). Everyone comments about the beds, they are superb! By the end of our first full day, we started to feel very comfortable with the house, making ourselves at home. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils if you want to eat at home, you can probably cook whatever you fancy. All the rooms are large which allows a group of 7 to be together without being cramped and you can even get some peace and quiet if you need to escape. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Boston.
Nelson and Madeline were quick to return our safety deposit which is appreciated after so much shopping.
Many thanks for providing all the little touches that make a home from home.
I stayed with a group of 6 people in September. Nelson was great to work with and showed us the ins and outs of the home upon our arrival. With 6 adults we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The house is beautiful and is right on Boston Harbor. The views were incredible, at night coming home to the view of the city skyline was so nice. The house was full of character and charm. Nelson is an artist and has filled the home with unique artwork and personal touches. I am picky about beds and the beds were all very comfortable. The house is in a safe neighborhood, walking distance to the T. We highly recommend this house for a family or group.
This was a lovely family home, extremely comfortable for four adults but a greater number of people may have had a problem with only one bathroom. Excellent location, just a short walk to the station which took you directly to Boston centre. We enjoyed the views in the evening over a glass of wine, very relaxing. Would recommend the property.
Boston is the seat of the history of the United States and offers cultural sites and events throughout the year. The Theater District is about 10 minutes by public transportation as well as museums and art galleries. Famous Newbury St, Downtown Crossing and Historic Fanuel Hall are minutes away. With world class hospitals such as Mass General, Brigham and Womens and The Deconess, you know your stay is covered. With events such as the Boston Marathon, Trade shows or an art walk at Sowa's first Friday open studios, first run Broadway shows, know your stay here will be fun filled. Within a few blocks there are restaurants, 1st place winner Belle Isle Seafood, ethnic groceries, spas, world renowned Woody's Liquor. Constitution Beach is at the end of the street and Belle Isl. Dog walking park nearby. Hike up Madonna Hill and view the bronze statue of the Madonna and take in the incredible view. If your an airplane enthusiast stay home and watch the planes take off, and land.
