Orleans is the first town to have direct access to the National Seashore. Hikers, bikers and runners can access the 25+ mile Cape Cod Rail Trail and Nickerson State Park from town center that has bike rentals. The NCAA championship level Orleans Firebirds host 22 home games under the lights during June, July and August at Eldredge Park and free concerts at Nauset Beach every Monday at 7pm. Academy Theater summer stock shows the best of Broadway. Orleans Rock Harbor has one of the largest sport fishing charter fleets on Cape Cod. Restaurants and shops abound and the beaches say it all in Orleans where the real Cape begins.
