House and the Owner are both Superb

Every detail of the description of this property is dead-on accurate and the owner couldn't be a nicer, more responsive person with whom to work. When we called with a minor problem, she was right there and available.

Outside, the great live oak in the front yard drips with Spanish moss. This is old Florida! The pool and spa are marvelous, the fenced yard is spacious and completely private. Located in a quiet neighborhood of diverse homes, it is a nice area for morning and evening walks (the beach is only 2 blocks away). We met some students from the Ringling School of Art and Design who were delightful companions as we watched those beautiful sunsets from Indian beach.

Inside the house feels spacious. The kitchen is stocked with essentials like salt and pepper, olive oil, etc. (a nice touch). The master bedroom suite is large and the master bed is do comfortable we'd go back to this house again just for the bed! The master bath has a large, walk-in shower, double sinks, and there's a large walk-in closet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. 5 stars are well-earned!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for this lovely review. I am so, so happy you enjoyed the house! You were lovely, very communicative tenants, which I really appreciate, and I hope we will be neighbors there some day, now that Sarasota has won you over (it's quick, isn't it?).
Sincerely,
Peggy

Very pleasant winter home

All the reviews are correct. This is a lovely and comfortable home with a very attentive and kind owner taking care of any issues. The neighborhood is perfect for walks, bikes and sunsets. Close to downtown Sarasota and beaches. Very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend...but we already have it booked for next winter. We were very pleased and hate to leave to return to the cold of Wisconsin.

Great home with all you need, even beach towels. One trip to Publix grocery and your set for the coming weeks. Eat breakfast outside on the lanai and enjoy the privacy of the fenced in yard. Nice pool to cool down in those hot days & evenings. TV includes DVR so you can record any programs you don’t want to miss. Pool is enclosed so no worry of insects. Totally enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood near Route 41

Beautiful, lovely week in a wonderful home.

Almost a year has passed since my family & I travelled from the UK to spend a week of our holiday in this lovely home. However I have reminiscing and can't believe that I haven't posted a review, until now.
I really rell in love with this house and would have happily moved my family in if I could. It is full of charm and character that I didn't expect of Florida. We travelled with a 4 month old, 2 and 4 year old and our children were safe and happy. all their needs were met. The house is bigger than it appears on the website and the layout really lends itself to larger families or even two small ones. Peggy is very approachable and makes you feel most welcome and your stay hassle free.
We took some lovely early morning/late evening walks over to the bay (boy it is hot over there!). The area is quiet & 'local'.
However the delightful attractions of Sarasota are a short drive away, inc Jungle Gardens, which is a gem, and of course downtown & the beach. We also spent a lovely morning at the free water park by the marina. If you have young children check it out if you need respite from heat and a chat with local mums & dads.
Grrr I would love to go back right now, book fast and relax....

Perfect Place for a Wonderful Holiday!

I absolutely loved this house. It had everything my family could ask for, especially the peace and quiet while away from home. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with just a short walk to the beautiful bay. A great place for morning coffee. The pool in the backyard was super clean and a dream for my children to wake up to and a late evening swim (they thought they were in heaven!).

The kitchen was a great working kitchen that had every plate, utensil, and apparatus you could ever need. And the poolside patio was a perfect backdrop to a wonderful meal.

The house may look small in the pictures, but kept on going! The master suite in the back of the house was so comfortable, while the other two bedrooms were equally comfortable.

The beach was a short drive, but well worth it. The sands were just as the reports say, the most beautiful in the country. We ate at the old Salty Dog one day, I recommend the ahi tuna sandwich, just seared!

I have everything positive, absolutely nothing negative, to say about this house. I am glad my nephew's wedding took us to Sarasota to find this beautiful place and wonderful house.

The owner was superb and made sure every detail was accommodated to. It was a pleasure and and a dream house. I truly felt I was at home the first second I walked through the door.

Hurry up and book because I have told everyone about this house, so I suspect this rental will be hard to get!

Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I hope to get back to Sarasota and my little house near the bay soon.
