Situated right on the water in the city of Nelson and nearby Lakeside Park, guests can step into a deep space of comfort and luxury in this beautifully designed and hand-crafted timber-frame home. This property offers melting views of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake and the majestic Selkirk mountain ranges and features beautiful furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious floor plan on three levels. Relax in front of a crackling fireplace, lounge on the porch overlooking the lake or savour a meal hot off the barbeque from the second floor deck or by the waterfront gas fire pit. With your own private beach, you can swim or take a kayak out for a sunset paddle while you contemplate the day’s adventures. The large garage provides ample room for tuning skis and snowboards and fully guided experiences are also available in all seasons. The Kootenay region of British Columbia has it all. Great outdoors, un-crowded parks and golf courses, interesting Victorian towns like Nelson, Kaslo, New Denver and Silverton as well as eclectic eateries and fine dining opportunities. Winter months bring champagne powder to Whitewater and Red Mountain ski areas and there are many back country routes, cat ski operations and heli skiing.
