Two bedroom with jack and jill bath just minutes to UMC and U of A
This is a charming bungalow built in the 1920's that has been owned by only 2 families. The cottage is a short walk to the world famous Arizona Inn and a short walk to Himmel Park, the U of A and UMC. The home features the original hardwood floors, and coved ceilings. The Wildcats McKale center, the Football stadium etc.. are just a few minutes walk away. The home has a gas fireplace, plantation shutters and remodeled kitchen and bath. Wireless internet is included for checking email or surfing the web. The home is just a short walk to numerous restaurants and college bars. Beginning this July (2014) you can catch the new Modern Street Car next to UMC that will go through the U of A Campus and downtown Tucson where there are numerous restaurants, bars and theatres. The Arizona Inn has a fantastic Sunday Brunch and is just a 5 minute walk. In July the Tucson Modern Street car just a short walk away starts service to University square and downtown Tucson where you can enjoy shows at two different theatres, or explore a multitude of restaurants and galleries.
This is one Sweet Bungalow. Location SUPREME as it rests in a most Beautiful Historic neighborhood in the Heart of Tucson just blocks away from the University of AZ & the Historic, Gorgeous Arizona Inn. Many days we would walk to the Arizona Inn to have breakfast, lunch or the very special Sunday Buffet. IMPORTANT, we felt SAFE in this neighborhood. The Curb Appeal, alone, is absolutely Charming. You can instantly SEE that this Bungalow has been well cared for. The exterior has been freshly painted as is the inside. LOVED the off road parking along side the house. The interior has also been renovated Lovingly. The Kitchen is well appointed. Ladies, the DISHES are Beautiful which is such a nice touch. The FURNITURE is COMFORTABLE! So often second hand furniture goes into rentals, NOT HERE. That Brown Leather Chair you see in the photos is DIVINE as are the beds & the couch. TWO TV's help any marriage & we loved that along with the great DVD Collection. The Owners, Russ & Donna, are THERE for you without ever "bothering" you. SUPER EASY to Contact & couldn't be more helpful & eager to please. Professional, efficient & responsible. We loved sitting on the back Patio in the mornings drinking our coffee & listening to the Doves coo. The neighborhood was quiet enough & this Bungalow quickly felt like Home. Its not BIG, so do not expect that but I have Nothing bad to say about this house or its Owners. We would definitely rent again. This is one Sweet Bungalow. "Thank You, Donna & Russ" for making our stay a Delightful one, indeed.

Owner's Response: Hi, thank you both so much for the review of our home. We feel the home is full of positive karma and in particular to those visitors that have such an upbeat way to approach life. We stay there a few weekends throughout the year, to go to a show downtown or to have dinner at one of the University area resteraunts and feel positive when we leave for home on Sunday.
We can't wait for summer when the Tucson Modern Streetcar finally opens. It will be just a short walk to the starting point by University Medical Center. It will run through the University and Downtown about 3 miles away.
You are always welcome to come and stay at our Bungalow. Thanks again! Russ and Donna
My husband and I stayed here for a month and found the house comfortable and well equipped. There were plenty of dishes and spices in the kitchen and bed and bath linens available for our long stay. The furniture is comfortable for sleeping as well as lounging or watching television. The house is within walking distance to the UofA campus but the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The area is also convenient to downtown and quite close to the Arizona Inn. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again next year.

This bungalow was built just a few years after Arizona recieved statehood. The home has been remodeled to offer all the needed amenities for a traveler to enjoy their visit to Tucson. It's just 3 blocks to Himmel Park that features Tennis courts and an outdoor basketball court as well as one of Tucson's public libraries. Randolph Park's El Rio Golf course is just 4 miles away as well as the Tucson Zoo. There are concert opportunities just a few miles to downtown or sporting events at the University of Arizona. One of the best medical facilities UMC is just a few minute walk away as well as the famous Arizona Inn Resort. A short drive to one of 4 local casinos for those more adventurous. Several museums are just a mile away near the U of A and every kind of food imaginable is within walking distance.
