The apartment is on the second floor of a magnificent historical renaissance palace, located in the area of Santo Spirito, the most authentic and lively part of Florence. Within two minutes walk, you can reach the lively and beautiful Piazza Santo Spirito or the famous Via Tornabuoni, the most luxurious shopping street in town. The most important cultural sites, such as the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio or the Cathedral are within 5 – 10 minutes walk.

Florence: The capital of Tuscany, on the north east coast of Italy, Florence is a city of magic and culture. The city centre is big enough to keep you enthralled for days, yet small enough to navigate in 30 minutes. But there are few that manage to complete the walk without stopping to admire and investigate some of Italy's most famous treasures. A must for any visitor to Florence is the Piazza del Duomo. It's famous dome still dominates the city's skyline. Another must is Piazzo della Signoria. Once the political centre of Florence, it is close to some of the city's most famous buildings and works of art. Make a point of seeing the Statue of David. Although only a copy of Michelangelo's famous sculpture, it is non the less stunning. Florence is an intriguing city. The best way to enjoy its culture and its atmosphere is to let it enter your soul.

A lovely week in Florence

My wife and I with our 2 daughter spent a week in May at this wonderful apartment. The description was just as we found it. It is situated in an excellent location within easy walking distance to everywhere in Florence. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything you need to enjoy your stay. It's located right next to the Pitti Palace which was an area populated by nobility in it's day. We would certainly recommend this property.

A place I like to call home

This is by far one of the most charming and well maintained holiday rentals I've stayed at to date. My first stay in this apartment was during my 3-month sojourn in Florence. Not only did I find the apartment to be enormously comfortable and in convenient proximity to my favourite parts of the city, but I was also struck by the unyielding hospitality and helpfulness of the apartments caretaker, Elisabetta. She consistently went out of her way to make sure that the apartment felt like a home away from home. My experiences staying here were so memorable that it was an obvious first choice upon my return to the city this past summer. I can say without reservation that this apartment is a fantastic deal—clean, equipped with all the necessary amenities, spacious, close to everything, and run by one of the sweetest people you'll meet in Florence! It is for these very reasons that I would unhesitatingly return to it for any future trips to this spectacular city.
