CHARMING LOG CABIN IN THE WOODS, FIREPIT, SPA, 2 DECKS, MTN VIEWS, 3 TVS, WIFI

Boone Cabin Rental Photos and Description

2300 sq feet, Sleeps 10 MAX, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms

Managed by dedicated OWNERS, this cabin provides you with all the country charm and luxury you would want. Located a short stroll from the meandering New River, this ONE ACRE authentic log cabin has all the conveniences you could ask for, complete with a rustic atmosphere and adorable country bear theme. The cabin is striking with vaulted pine LOG WALLS and exposed-beam CATHEDRAL CEILINGS. Comfy seating and gorgeous mountain views through the huge windows and doors. Enjoy the STONE WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE or play pool, ping pong or darts. The fully-equipped kitchen has a large breakfast bar and dining area. 2 WRAPAROUND DECKS for dining & grilling, Adirondack chairs and gliders with plenty of seating to enjoy the sounds of the river and drink in the mountain views. Bird-watching is a favorite activity from the decks. All 4 bedrooms are charming and spacious.

A PRIVATE sunken SPA is located on the lower deck for you to enjoy after a day of hiking, skiing and mountain activities. Have a real outdoor campfire or cookout in the FIREPIT.

Very private community, but close to all activities.

River Community: Bearfoot Hideaway is in a private river community with river access, and maintained river walks.

Nature at its best: Relax and enjoy the gorgeous views or watch the birds and woodland animals from one of our huge wrap around decks, or while soaking in our sunken hot tub. Then dry off and warm yourself by our outdoor firepit, or our stone fireplace.

if you are so inclined, please feed the birds and hummingbirds with the food we have in the cabin.

Underground Power lines: Bearfoot Hideaway is located in a community with underground power lines! The benefit if which is that the cabin does not have power outages when the weather is inclement, as other homes in the area experience frequently. During the blizzard of '09 when 88% of Watauga county was powerless, (some for more than 4 days), Bearfoot Hideaway did not experience even one split second of power loss.

Guestbook comments from the owner
Thanks again for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family. The cabin was extremely clean and well-stocked. The location was also great. It was somewhat secluded while still being close enough to shopping/activities. There was so little traffic by the house that our children were able to sled in the roadway by the house.

We would definitely rent this house again!

Thanks,

Rebecca and Family

As 2 business professionals, we never had time to destress, until we purchased our cabin 'Bearfoot Hideaway'. I am an avid gardener and birdwatcher, and my husband loves to hike. The crisp clean mountain air and natures sounds from the woods around our cabin make us feel as if we escaped the world. The starlit sky at night is only overshadowed by the June fireflies or the roaring fire we build in our outdoor firepit. Bearfoot Hideaway is our piece of heaven in the Blue Ridge Mountains!

Trish purchased this cabin in 2006

We fell in love with our log cabin the moment we walked onto the deck. The mountain views and authentic log construction was exactly what we were looking for.

We love mountain biking and hiking along the Blue Ridge. Summer is a great time for tubing on our very own New River. Living far away, it is not so easy staying on top of it, but I take TLC of my garden whenever we get a chance to be there, and the flowers are absolutely GORGEOUS! The Autumn is also a favorite time of year to be in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The changing leaves of Fall, along with the cooler temperatures makes for a heavenly getaway. From the time the first snowflake falls, until late March skiing, Boone is a winter wonderland. There are Arts & Crafts Festivals all year long.

WONDERFUL AND RELAXING TRIP!

  • 5 of 5
We were a family of 10 people traveling from Florida to North Carolina to enjoy some winter fun especially the mountains. This cabin was a real treat for us all. First of all it was very large and had plenty of bedrooms to fit us all very comfortably. It was so nicely decorated with the bear theme and everything you need was provided. The cabin was VERY clean and everything well kept. Trish the owner is a pleasure to work with and very helpful. We also had the property management folks stop by to be sure we had plenty of firewood and to offer any other help if we needed anything. First class and a must to return! Thanks Trish for a great place to stay and enjoy ourselves.

UNBELEIVABLE STAY!! WE WILL BE RETURNING!!

  • 5 of 5
I have rented many homes in the Boone area and this one, by far, was the best! What more could you ask for? Close to Boone, beautiful views, comfortable beds, hot tub, fire pit, game room. The house was so home-like and Trish, the owner, is very good at communicating all the information you need for a great stay. This was the perfect home for us. The grounds are beautiful and everything was to our liking.

OUTSTANDING CABIN AND RATES!! VERY RELAXING!!

  • 5 of 5
The Trip to Boone was extraordinary! We were lucky to have arrived shortly after a snowstorm. The night before we weren’t sure if we would be able to make the trip due to the weather conditions previous in the week. However Trish made that all possible with filling us in with weather updates during the day before and giving us tips to make it safely. Once we arrived at the cabin we knew right away it was going to be an awesome weekend. The House itself was fully equipped with anything you may need. We had 8 people in our group and cooked all weekend. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The view is unreal with the two decks over looking the mountains. We also had a nice warm fire to make Smores. For anyone looking for a great cabin to stay in with everything you may need. This is the Place. We will be back!!!

PEACEFUL, RELAXING GETAWAY

  • 4 of 5
Beautiful and scenic cabin located just minutes from Boone. Plenty of room for a large family. Three levels of living area provide plenty of privacy. Wonderful views from the two large decks not to mention a relaxing hot tub. We enjoyed the hot tub while it was snowing and 20 degrees outside. Great game room for the whole family's enjoyment. You'll find everything you need upon arrival. Cabin is located in a nice area and is on paved road. Access was easy even with the snow. Hope to enjoy another stay in the future! Trish was wonderful in answering all my questions while planning our trip. Thanks!

COZY EASTER WEEKEND

My party arrived to find the place just as described with all of the amenities required to enjoy a quality visit to the high country. The Bearfoot Hideaway has an excellent mountain view and offers several vantage points for enjoyment. Trish was very accommodating and administered nothing short of a smooth and seamless rental. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cabin experience in the Boone area with a healthy mix of comfort and charm.
