Guestbook comments from the owner
Stayed here for two weeks and loved every minute. The apartment is quite marvelous, beautifully maintained, absolute top quality furnishings, linens, towels and everything you might need in the kitchen. The added treat are the gardens on the grounds. You can enjoy trees, flowers, and birds chirping, and no traffic noise, something not heard of in Buenos aires. The location is excellent, near shops, cafes, food stores, good restaurants and a short distance to centro, San Telmo , museums etc. The owner is absolutely an angel. She is also a gifted artist and has created many of the exquisite pieces one can enjoy in the apartment. She was helpful with everything including making recommendations for restaurants to referring a dentist when I needed one. . Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who enjoys beautiful surroundings and a peaceful setting. The owner and the apartment are absolute gems
Built over 112 years ago, it is the oldest French building in this part of Recoleta. It is rumored that this architect designed a sister building in Paris. It is constructed courtyard style around three gardened patios so all the windows open to the gardens. We are buffered from all the street noise just outside the front entrance, so we live in silence and awaken with the birds.
