Our preferred upper townhouse two bedroom end unit has been updated for you to enjoy a casual, comfortable beach vacation. Master bedroom has queen size bed, guest bedroom has full over queen bunk - all are memory foam mattress systems. Nicely equipped kitchen with granite counters, and dining room with seating for six. Amenities include wall mounted LCD TVs in both bedrooms, 32-in LCD TV in living room, DVD player, cable, and Internet. Relax on our palm and live oak tree shaded deck, or walk or bicycle(we provide 2 bikes) to nearby beach access.

Our location is a short walk or bicycle ride (approx 700 yds) to beach access (2 beach cruiser bicycles are provided for island exploration). Also included with your rental is an 'amenity card' that affords free access to the Property Owners Association Lake House facility outdoor pool, catch and release fishing lake, playground, and access with user fees to the indoor lap pool/fitness center.

Just beyond the Seabrook entrance gates are Bohicket Marina featuring restaurants, several shops, charter fishing and wonderful sunset views from the marina courtyard,and Fresh Fields Village with extensive shopping, restaurants, an exceptional grocery, and many free entertainment events on the Village green.

We've owned vacation properties in both North and South Carolina for 20+ years - purchasing our first property at Seabrook in 2005. We have now transformed that first home at Seabrook to our full time residence, and have purchased the High Hammock Villa for use by our children/friends and rental guests.

Good place to stay on Seabrook Island

Our overall experience was very good. The owners are very helpful and freindly. This was very reasonably priced for the island. The Villa was clean and spacious. The island is great. We loved how secluded it was (the island not the Villa). There were a few hiccups. There was not a remote for the DVD player or an ironing board. They had an old leaky iron but no board. The owners described the Villa as "updated". For the most part that is true. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling that was covered with a piece of sheet rock. From the description I thought they were done with the updates. Besides the few small areas that need improved my family and I had a good time. We would definitely stay here again once the mentioned issues are fixed.

Owner's Response: Glad that you had a good visit. Thanks for the "heads up" regarding the iron. It's one of those items that is rarely used - so we weren't aware that it wasn't working perfectly - it has already been replaced. There is a compact ironing board in the kitchen cabinet over the fridge - in the future we will leave it in a more obvious location. The small square of drywall on the ceiling actually covers the space where a new vent is being added. We purposely only have the Comcast/Panasonic remote to keep things simple (it's amazing how frequently the remotes turn up missing or serve to confuse guests)- so the DVD player, indeed, does need to be manually turned on/off.
Thanks for the feedback, it really helps us when guests alert us to things that would make their visit better.

We took a chance on this villa with nothing to go on but the website, and are very glad we did. We have a family of 6 with two adults 4 kids (19,18,12,&10). The bike ride to the beach is awesome and we even got to ride on the beach at low tide. The dolphin stranding at low tide on the kiawah river inlet was an amazing thing to see. The tranquility of the oaks and friendliness of the people was wonderful. We would recommend this condo to our friends, family and anyone wanting a week away from it all.

This was our 1st family vacation with our 4 yr. old daughter and 2 yr old son and we feel so fortunate to have found this rental. Everything was as described, wonderfully clean, reasonably priced, perfect for our family of 4, and, oh, the kids LOVED the bunk beds! Highly recommend this for small families with young children, or couples of any age.

Mother/Daughter trip to Seabrook Island, SC

My daughter and I had a beautiful and very bonding trip to Seabrook Island. Nice clean and quiet community. Very comfortable living quarters. Absolutely wonderful. Had a great time at the beach. Loved being in the Atlantic Ocean. Charleston, SC, is a beautiful place with so much history. Being able to stand where once my ancestors stood was awesome. Strong memories of being raised in the South (Texas) brought back fond memories of that Sweet Southern Hospitality. Yes, we will be back for a longer stay.
