My family and I were thrilled with the condo immediately upon arrival. It was the perfect layout for my husband and I, 9 yr old son and my parents. After a very long travel day, it was great for everyone to retreat to their private space for a while. The decor was inviting and made us feel we had arrived in the west. The kitchen had everything we could need for our meals. We took advantage of the grill for one of our dinners. The condo itself is in a very quiet neighborhood minutes from town. It was easy for us to navigate to the grocery store and visitor center. The condo is right next to a golf course. Although my husband and I didn't have time to golf, we did take an evening walk to the course to check it out.
I would have to say the best part of our stay was being so close to the parks. The owners have made a wonderful binder highlighting hikes in Arches. We took advantage of the information and did some hikes of our own. The condo was close enough to Arches for us to go early in the morning and explore until around 1. By then it was incredibly hot, so we went back to the condo and enjoyed the afternoon in the, as my son would say, "totally awesome pool!" We could then go back out to the park in the evening for sunset vistas if we chose to. We were also able to take in Dead Horse State Park for a sunrise and a taste of Canyonlands by visiting Island in the Sky.
This was our first ever visit to Utah and I would say the entire experience couldn't have been better. Thank you for sharing your condo.
