Welcome to our large two storey 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse with pool view, recently renovated throughout. Main floor has a gorgeous open concept gourmet kitchen, granite counters and island, new stainless appliances including fridge with icemaker, adjoining computer desk area with WIFI, dining area with seating for 6, living room with new furniture, 50 in. HD TV and blueray, Bose IPOD sound-dock, and main floor powder room with stacked washer/dryer.

Upper level includes master bedroom with queen bed, large ensuite washroom with walk in shower, walk in closet, a guest bedroom with double bed plus single roll out murphy bed (sleeps 3 in GBR) and a 2nd full bath with tub. Living room includes pullout sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms have TV's with DVD players. Enjoy lunch or dinner in the main level lanai with outdoor dining table (off LR) , or a quiet read in the upper lanai with chaise lounge and wicker rocker (off MBR), both overlooking pool but with a sense of privacy due to natural foliage screen of palm and bamboo trees.

The beach is a quick 5 minute walk through private grounds and across a short footbridge over a natural bayou. Nicest beach on Sanibel, great for lounging, shelling, walking, swimming, fishing, and of course beautiful sunsets. Unit includes beach chairs and umbrella, and an assortment of kids beach toys (pails, skim board, paddleball, noodles etc.). Onsite salt water pool, tennis courts (2) and kayaks/canoes provided for paddling in the bayou.

Close to all local amenities including Sanibel and Captiva restaurants, shopping, movie cinema, repertory theatre, shell museum and to 'Ding' Darling Nature Preserve offering nature walks, birdwatching, kayaking with manatees, sunset dolphin cruises and more! Convenient access to excellent cycling trails, with bike rentals delivered to your door from local merchants. This is a non-smoking unit and pets are not permitted in the complex. Walk up unit occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors of a 3 storey building.

We love the natural elements of the island with the beautiful unspoiled beach, the abundance of nature preserves and ability to get out on the water, as well as the wonderful bike trail system. The island has a laid back feel but also has dining opportunities ranging from casual to fine dining as well as interesting shopping. We bought fairly recently, and now that our renovations are complete we are extremely happy with our new place!

Wonderful

I almost do not want to write this review because of selfish reasons because I want to make sure if we go again that this unit is available. This is paradise and I can only hope that we can come back again and this time for two weeks. There was everything we needed in this unit. We were so impressed with all the beach gear! The condo itself was wonderful. We just were so sad when we had to leave. We love Sanibel and this condo was just perfect! If you want peace and quiet and relaxation then this is the place to be. Thank you so much to the owners for sharing your home with us and making our stay perfect!!!!!

Great Condo, Great Location, Great Vacation

We planned my 50th Birthday Party on Sanibel Island. My sister was able to join us from Minnesota, my brother also made it for two days and we flew in from Texas. It was an INCREDIBLE place to stay. Since this was our first time to Sanibel and Captiva we did not know the best location but now that we have stayed at Blind Pass, we know this is the BEST location. It is convenient to Sanibel and Captiva so you have the best of both worlds. The bike/walk trail is minutes away and we biked several times to Captiva.

In addition to a perfect location, the property was well maintained and it was a convenient walk to the beach. The owners stocked the closet with a cart and all types of beach gear making it easy to transport everything. The kitchen was equiped with everything you could need for cooking and lots of cabinets. There are grills located behind the pool and we stopped at Bailey's for fresh fish and grilled almost every night. We met so many nice people at the grill area and became familiar with many of them. The condo was spotless and we felt right at home. I emailed Stephen a few times for advice and he was so helpful.

Mucky Ducks and R.C. Otters on Captiva were our favorite restaurants. There is a Dolphin Cruise offered in Captiva for only $27.50 per person and it was fantastic. Bailey's on Sanibel has a nice selection of fresh seafood. I would recommend shopping in Fort Myers for your other groceries as it could be expensive on the islands.

We will definitely be back and will stay at this location again. I highly recommend you stay here. No need to look any further! We rated this in our top 3 vacation spots.

Wonderful home away from home!!!!!

We just returned from spending a week at this wonderful condo. You can literally go with just your personal items.....everything else is there including a cabinet full of toys, nets, chairs....anything you need to spend some great time at the beach. This is by far one of the nicest condos that we have stayed in at Blind Pass. We just loved the way the island in the kitchen made the downstairs so open and the appliances are top shelf. We are hoping that if we return to our favorite vacation spot that this condo will be available. Thank you so much for all the care that you have put into making this condo such a wonderful place to stay!!!!!

Absolutely Fantastic

Excellent vacation condo, newly renovated with two floors and modern kitchen amenities and appliances. Likely the premier rental unit in Blind Pass. Kitchen is very well equipped. Unit is very spacious. Pluses include the modern kitchen,new furniture and appliances; wide screen TV; three washrooms; two lanais with western exposure and pool view; large shower in ensuite bath. Unit also equipped with movies; books; games and beach equipment. Only feature missing is a whirlpool bath tub. Unit was very clean and all towels, soap and tissues provided. Rental price is excellent value if you look at price comparisons at other Sanibel resorts and hotels, plus you have all the amenities of home. Resort pluses include over-sized pool; tennis courts; bayou cross-over to beach; and quiet beach with many luxury beachfront homes. On-site rental management was easy to deal with and open every day. I would highly recommend property to a friend or relative; and would likely return again in future. The resort caters to couples and families. Blind Pass is mid distance between Sanibel and Captiva, and we found the distance away from the primary commercial areas a major plus. We stayed in a penthouse unit at Pointe Santo de Sanibel the prior week which is a popular upscale complex and we found this unit and resort to be even better. You need a car at this location and most locations on Sanibel if you want to venture out to restaurants and groceries. We also took our bikes and used them everyday as bike trails on Sanibel are well maintained and abundant. Bike rentals are available everywhere and you can bike the entire island and nearby wildlife sanctuaries. Sanibel beach itself is awesome with gentle waves and is great for both adults and kids. We had a very relaxing vacation. Thank you.
