Christmas Holiday

My family and I (three people total) stayed in this homeaway apartment for one week over the Christmas holiday. The apartment is beautifully designed and furnished. It has high ceilings, many windows, and decorative yet functioning furniture. Everything was clean and looked almost new. The beds are very comfortable, and some can even be adjusted for firmness with the push of a button. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a full Christmas dinner. The silverware was somewhat sparse, but we just ended up running the dishwasher each day. The apartment was generally quiet; only once in a while we could hear talking downstairs, but out of seven days, that only happened maybe twice. The apartment heats up fast, so it is not cold in the winter.
As mentioned above, Olive and Rich didn't interact with us much, but they were very helpful. When we arrived, we could not find trash bags, but after calling Olive, we found them. We also had trouble getting online, but after calling Olive, that problem was fixed as well. Luckily Rich and Olive were okay with us getting a Christmas tree, and Rich even helped us trim the tree’s base to fit in my tree stand.
The immediate neighborhood is quiet and cute. The nearest grocery store, called the Harvest Co-op, is rather pricy, but I’m sure you could find shopping elsewhere if you want. The subway is about a 10 minute walk away, which was very convenient. And the 39 bus stops nearby, which gives you easy access to Back Bay Station and the Prudential Center.
Overall, we had a great stay. The apartment was slightly over our planned budget, but it was worth it.
