This adorable Guest Cottage will get you on the beach while not breaking your bank account! Property was completely renovated in 2005. Cottage renovated AGAIN in 2011. Guest cottage features one very large bedroom. It has an open floor plan for living, dining and cooking. Kitchen has a gas stove, for those who like to cook! Bedroom is very large. This room comfortably holds 2 Queen size beds, with 2 large closets. Bathroom has a stall shower. House also has it's own washer and dryer. This way you can pack less clothes! The walls are white wainscoted, the dining, living and bath room area's have porcelain tile floors. The bedroom is carpeted. This guest cottage is an adorable bungalow. Cozy, warm, yet 'on the beach'! Milford is a great town to visit! We have a Costco, Whole Foods and Trader Joes, all approx 3 miles away from the cottage.

Notes: The guest cottage is a completely self contained small house. It has been enjoyed by many guests! It is quaint and gives a person the sense of comfort and well being. It is not crowded with stuff or over done. It is what it is...a guest cottage should be. CUTE!

Unfortunately we had to cancel our long awaited month at this cottage due to Hurricane Irene. We were supposed to stay from Oct1st to Oct 30,2011.
We are originally from CT & have family there & looking for just the right place & person to rent from & we found both! Coming from the NC coast, we know how devastating a hurricane can be & couldn't believe when we made it through Irene & the CT coast didn't. Throughout the whole process of renting, Cheryl was wonderful, she always answered all of our questions promptly & we soon gained complete trust in her. We were so excited about our trip & meeting her & then they get hit with the storm! We had to cancel by our own choice since Cheryl said she would have it ready for us & she was just wonderful in understanding our reason. She promptly returned our deposit along with a lovely note. Having been previous owners of an oceanfront hotel ourselves, & going through 7 storms, we know how taxing it is afterwards. She never let that get in the way of taking care of us.We can't wait to make a new reservation, hopefully for the spring & would highly recommend Cheryl to anyone interested in her properties. We also can't wait to meet her in person, we feel like we are friends already.
