Perfect Oceanfront Location!

We spent two weeks in this Alii Drive home and had a wonderful time. We spent every morning on the deck watching whales and dolphins while sipping our Kona coffee and eating Hawaiian sweet bread french toast. The home is very secluded and private and sits off the road a bit which is nice. There is no air conditioning but it wasn't needed. We found the fans and ocean breezes to be enough to cool things down. It was also nice to be able to park our car in an enclosed garage. We love the Alii Drive location because it is central to island activities. We could walk to a great snorkeling spot, drive a short way to services (restaurants, grocery, gas) and some great hiking locations and it is very close to Keahou bay where we caught a wonderful snorkel/snuba cruise tour (Hula Kai). Costco is also not far away - highly recommended if you are staying awhile and planning to prepare many of your own means. The home was spotlessly clean and well stocked. The garage also housed plenty of snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers, chairs and umbrella so we felt well-prepared for each day's adventures. We've been to the Hawaiian islands many times so we have a lot of experience to compare with. We highly recommend this one!
