Bogle Farms is a 135 acre 19th century dairy farm with accommodations for multiple family units. There are 4 bedrooms in the recently renovated Garden Cottage and three rustic, yet modern cabins with a bedroom and sleeping loft in each cabin. Our farm is intended to be a quite, peaceful retreat and is perfect for family reunions and retreats and Auburn Home Football games. We have horses, chickens, goats, donkeys and mules which children (and adults!) enjoy watching. We do not cater to loud or noisy groups and guests must agree in writing to the farm rules and guidelines for guests. We promise your family a 'once in a lifetime' experience in the hills of west central Georgia near Callaway Gardens and Roosevelt's Little White House in nearby Warm Springs. The Garden Cottage cottage is a 4 BR, fully renovated home with a large living and dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The 3 cabins have small kitchen areas with refrigerators, microwaves and sinks. Each cabin has central heat and air, a bedroom with queen size bed and a sleeping loft, also with a queen size bed. The cabins are nestled under old-growth oak and cedar trees 1/4 mile from the nearest traffic, but a short walk or drive to the main cottage. In spring and summer guests can enjoy the large, stone swimming pool which has been constructed within 30 feet of the cabins' front porches.
There are a total of 10 king or queen size beds in 7 BR's and 3 sleeping lofts in the cabins.
Though set in a rural, country setting, Bogle Farms is far from 'roughing it'! The view from the deck provides a wonderful venue from which to view the native whitetail deer, turkeys, hawks and other wildlife. Three fishing ponds are on the property and within walking distance from the cottage and cabins, as well as miles of hiking trails.
We do not allow firearms or fireworks on the property at any time nor do we allow ATV's.
Occasional weddings are allowed, if interested in holding your wedding, rehearsal or reception, please contact us for information.

We are a family with three married daughters. The farm is a place created for an ever growing family to come together and create life long memories. After several years of enjoying it exclusively we decided to share it with others as well. As a result, we have had multiple families build the same wonderful memories that we have.
Thomas Bogle purchased this cottage in 2005
We surveyed central GA for 2 years and purchased this as a farm, rural retreat large enough for our entire family. We like this location because of the proximity to the Atlanta airport, the town of LaGrange and the nearby location of Callaway Gardens. The property is also a wonderful combination of plantation pines, open meadows and pasture and hardwood forests.
We enjoy being able to be totally secluded with just our family and friends, yet only 10 minutes from groceries, movie theater and other attractions. For larger groups and families there is so much more to do than at a smaller property: ponds, farm animals, miles of walking trails, fields for games, swimming pool, etc., keeps even the most active people busy.
My family has stayed at the "One of a Kind Family Farm" several times. It is one of our favorite places to go. We have stayed in the main farm house as well as the cabins. The cabins are very private and very comfortable. The pool is amazing with waterfall and jacuzi. Its wonderful to just sit out and watch the stars at night. The 3 cabins are within walking distance of each other so it's great for an "extended family". We have stayed there with our son, daughter and son-in-law and grandson.(theres even a sandbox, toys, and swing for small children) I personally love "walking" the farm early in the morning. There's nothing quite like the peace and calm and beauty of the property. The main cottage is beautiful - with rocking chairs on the front porch and everything. You really couldn't ask for a more amazing place to spend a family vacation.
Our family was in Georgia to complete the adoption of our 4th child. We had planned on staying in GA for a week, but ended up having to stay for 3 weeks. We basically lived at Bogle farms for 11 days and couldn't have been happier. Bogle farms is a "magical" place...so incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Our kids loved running around on the property, fishing & visiting with the animals. My husband and I loved taking walks and being able to just relax. We were there in the winter and can only imagine how awesome the pool is. We stayed in the main house and were very comfortable there. The house was very clean & had everything you could think of to make our stay comfortable. Thom was great to rent from...very honest man. Erin was so kind and responsive; she really let us be a part of the farm. We would recommend to anyone & will go again.
13 of us stayed for the week of our son's graduation from Fort Benning. Everything was ready upon our arrival. Clean, cozy, family atmosphere! Our grandchildren loved feeding apples and carrots to the horses and watching the baby goats. A night relaxing in the hot tub along with s'mores around the giant bonfire rounded out a perfect family weekend. Erin and Thom very responsive to all requests. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants family oriented getaway!
We spent a long weekend at Bogle Farms this February with friends, and had SUCH an amazing time. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the love that the owners and caretakers have for the farm is evident. The cabins were neat and clean, and the pool and hot tub area is perfect for relaxing! We enjoyed activities like gathering eggs from the chicken coop, petting the goats, horses and other animals, and chatting around the ENORMOUS evening bonfire. All in all, it was an absolutely amazing weekend. I hope to be back again soon, but in the meantime I hope others take advantage of this beautiful piece of countryside.
I arrived on a Friday evening with a group of 8. We were greeted by Thom and Gayle and shown around their beautiful property. Each couple in our group had their own cabin with plenty of space still unused!
The farm is amazing with so much to do for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities of any kind.
The whole team at Bogle Farms goes out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and are ready to help with recommendations for activities, food or any other question.
I'd highly recommend Bogle Farms to anyone looking to organize a trip with a large group looking for a beautiful natural setting with lots of fun activities.
Our family lived in Florida for the past 10 years and we have always made an effort to come back to Bogle Farms in different seasons. After moving to Atlanta, we are happy to only be a little over an hour away.
The accommodations will meet the needs of most travelers who either seek to get away from the city life for a brief moment or a family vacation. Our kids enjoy the variety of farm animals and wildlife that lives on the land. The three cottages tucked away surrounding a well planned landscape become a home away from home. Our kids played in the pool while we lounged under the sun enjoying the moment.
The farm hand and owners are as reasonable and accommodating as any other private rental. Overall, our family highly recommends Bogle Farms as your next vacation getaway.
First, a disclaimer, I did not book this trip myself, but rather, traveled with family. In general, lack of cell service and the rural nature of the house would not have been my first choice.
We stayed as part of a large group. First, the good, the pool was lovely and very pretty. The outdoor areas were well maintained. The animals on the property were friendly. The caretaker was extremely friendly with the kids and her garden in the backyard was very interesting to them. We enjoyed the short drive to Atlanta and also very much enjoyed Robin's Lake Beach at Callaway Gardens.
The Bad, the house was not the way I would expect it to be prepared for guests. There is nowhere to put any of your things because all the drawers and cabinets are either locked or full of the owners' personal belongings. This makes it very hard to stay there for any period of time as your stuff is crammed in your suitcase. Also, when we opened up the coffee machine for the first time, there was a soggy old filter full of old coffee grounds in it. Kinda gross not knowing how long they had been there :( There was mildew around the edges of the shower and a lot of dirt and clutter. This felt more like staying with family who weren't particularly good at cleaning for guests than staying somewhere you'd pay for. The pots and pans rack hanging over the stove had dust an inch thick on it. Toilet paper was not stocked so you had to ask for more rolls anytime you used one up. Also, my understanding from the parties who were financially responsible for our stay was that the owners informed them upon arrival that they would have to pay extra for any hot tub use or streaming media use even though the hot tub and wifi were included in the ad. My understanding is that the conflict was amicably resolved, but I think it's inappropriate to wait until folks arrive and then start limiting their amenities and making them have to haggle with you for what you originally posted in your own description of your property.
Lastly, the ugly....I know rural areas have more bugs...but...we killed multiple cockroaches inside the dwelling during our stay. We were also told that our children should not go in and out of the front door at all during our stay due to wasp nests that were "good wasps" so they were being kept.
Honestly, it was not up to par for the price charged and I would not recommend it as a place to stay without better cleaning and pest control.
Our family compound has miles of walking and hiking trails and a 63 hole golf course is 10 minutes away at Callaway Gardens, where guests can also tour the famed, southern resort including butterfly pavilion and gardens. The Little White House, Franklin Roosevelt's cottage home, museum and place of death is located 10 minutes away.
