Tranquility abounds at this FULLY air conditioned 4835 sq ft Victorian Charmer, we fondly call Peak Vista. Very private luxuriously furnished 5 bdrm 4 bath home. Located on 5 acres across from the US Air Force Academy in Sun Hills.

Recently updated Victorian including a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, solid oak doors and trim on every level with amenities of what a modern home can provide. Peak Vista is perfect for family and multi-family vacations, corporate retreats, small weddings, family reunions, and other special occasions. Lounge on the lovely wraparound covered porch in which to enjoy the peace and serenity of the area. As you enter Peak Vista, you are welcomed by a magnificent hard wood stairway with an upright piano. Quiet, High Quality, Peaceful, are yours to Enjoy

About Peak Vista: On the lower level a walk out basement has a very large living and recreation area including a new billiards table, foosball, wet bar, entertainment center with board games, extra bedroom, and a large full bathroom. This very large comfy room is great for projects, games, or watching your favorite movie.

The upper level of Peak Vista hosts four bedrooms and two bathrooms, each equipped with high thread count bedding and Egyptian cotton towels. You will enjoy the most comfortable memory foam beds in all of Colorado Springs! These include a king in the master, queen beds in two rooms, and two twins in the forth bedroom. The house sleeps 11 easily that is just counting beds! We can provide more sleeping arrangements for your guests, just ask us! Because of the private cul-de-sac, there is a lot of space for parking.

More Details: Jetted tub in the master bathroom with views of the mountains, hiking trails out the back door to a pond for fishing (1mi), and more all level hiking nearby. You will love to relax in the air conditioning! We have tetherball, basketball, and a playground with plenty of room to play. The kids will love hide and seek or Marco Polo out in the five acre natural area.

Notes: Pikes Peak View, coffee, tea, spices and condiments in kitchen. Wonderful Air Conditioning in entire house. The welcoming parlor is to one side and the appropriately appointed dining room with intimate seating for six and six more seats in the nook. The dining room has china for 12 guests. The rest of the main floor focuses on the views to the south and east of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. There is a spacious great room with large digital TV plus a Blue Ray player. A gourmet kitchen including slab granite, silverware, utensils, spices and cookware to meet all your cooking needs (all you need to add is the food). The deck off the nook area is a perfect spot for lounging in the sun, sipping some libations, soaking in the beautiful Rockies and enjoying this private and tranquil setting. A gas BBQ grill is provided. The 3-car garage parks two cars and remotes are provided. The fireplaces are Gas - just throw the switch. Find the cooler and beach chairs in the garage.

Peak Vista was everything it promised and more! We loved everything about our experience: The owner was attentive and available, the property and views were lovely, and the spacious, top-notch accommodations and amenities were perfect for our extended family to stay and our friends to gather.
Our daughter's wedding took place in the Colorado Springs area and Peak Vista worked well for making special memories. Garden of the gods served as the backdrop for wedding photos, nearby stores were convenient, downtown C.S. wasn't too far for the rehearsal dinner and the Flying Horse Golf course and location of the wedding reception were right around the corner.
When our multi-aged group wasn't playing pool or games in the lower level or enjoying a pick-up game of whiffle ball on the side lawn, they were gathering on the front porch or the back deck or one of the many comfortable rooms inside the house.
I've already recommended Peak Vista to other friends and since most of my family enjoyed the place with us, they were impressed enough to pass along Peak Vista's kudos to their friends. I didn't get to write in the memory book, in the living room, so I guess I will have to do that the next time we get our families gather from six different states to one beautiful location.

Absolutely wonderful! That sums up our stay at this beautiful home. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. It was everything and more then we expected. Very relaxing and comfortable plus gorgeous furnishings and view. We had plenty of room in the house for our group of 6 adults and 2 little ones. The directions to the property were easy as were the instructions while staying in the house. I would highly recommend this home

My family of 5 (and 2 dogs) needed a nice place to relax and enjoy some time together and this was the place. Fantastic house with everything we needed. Space (inside and out), accouterments, location to the city and the wild... you name it. And, the owner was supportive of our needs. With a great view of the mountains every morning and evening, we were totally relaxed. We will be returning to the Springs, and now we know we can bring our extended family and/or friends with us and have a great place to stay.

A great home in a great place for a great anniversary celebration

We stayed at Peak Vista for a full week with our kids, kids spouses and grandkids - 12 in all. The house was perfect accomodations for our vacation. The home was very clean, comfortable and quiet (as quiet as things can be with our crew). There was more than enough space for the 12 of us and plenty to do in the home between our activities. The views from the back deck were incredible for early morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were luxurious, comfortable and provided a great nights sleep after sight seeing in the Garden of the Gods, Old COlorado City or Seven Falls, or hiking Pikes Peak or white water rafting in Browns Canyon (2 hour drive). We made use of all 5 bedrooms. Stores for grocery are in close proximity, the Air Force Academy is close and Colorodo Springs and Manitou Springs and its great many things to do is about a 12 mile drive. Close enough to get to easily yet out a bit in a quiet community. We absolutely loved staying here. The kids were disappointed to leave. Thanks for making our 25th anniversary celebration with our family a great experience. If we are back in the area we will definitely book here again.
