Lakefront cottage in the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, 35 minutes east of the Mackinac Bridge along the northern shore of Lake Huron. Cottage sleeps 7, with two good sized bedrooms and large sleeping loft on second floor. Living area, kitchen, two full baths, and large deck. Use of docks, 2 kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat comes with property. Thirty-six islands with sheltered channels and bays provide for wonderful boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, watersports, sailing, and fishing. Marina, golf courses, restaurants, shopping, snowmobiling trails, and casinos nearby. Enjoy the area's unique boathouses and antique wooden boats as well as surrounding attractions, such as Mackinac Island, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Drummond Island, and Sault Ste. Marie. Don't miss the annual Les Cheneaux Wooden Boat Show in August!

Absolutely Lovely

When we first saw the pictures of this cottage online, our reaction was to think "Well, it's lovely, but I'm sure they're just very nice pictures.". They are nice pictures, but it's actually even more wonderful in person. The cottage is everything you've secretly wanted in an up north cabin. The views out of the many windows are incredible, there are beautiful wooden boats steaming by at regular intervals and endless nooks and crannies to explore in the kayaks and canoes. And, as we can attest to as we probably used up half their winter wood supply, the fireplace is great. It was the perfect quiet retreat.
