The condo complex offers a coin-operated laundry facility on the premises for your convenience.

Walk to award-winning restaurants such as the Santa Fe Baking Co. or Flying Star for breakfast, Pyramid Cafe/Mariscos for lunch, La Choza/Tomasitas/Maria's for dinner - stroll to the Children's Museum for some kid-fun or wander ON FOOT through historic downtown to take in the Spanish/Indian markets, Fiestas, or viewing the Christmas-time farolitos....enjoy incredible shopping and a one-of-a-kind experience in beautiful Santa Fe.

We had a lovely holiday at Casita Marota! We were worried since we arrived on what had to be the coldest night of the year, but the place warmed up quickly. It's a small apartment, but worked perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. Everything we could need was there, and the owners were very quick to respond when we did have a concern (which turned out to be minor and easily fixed it ourselves). The bed took a little getting used to, it's sort of like sleeping on a sandpile at first. There is a futon/couch in the living room, but the bed was big enough that our 3-year old ended up in there too. It is very conveniently located, and the Plaza, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and many restaurants could be walked to if it's warm enough.
We rented the Casita for 3 months, it was our home in Santa Fe. Situated 30 minutes on foot from the Plaza, and 5 minutes by car. The location was very good with Traders Joe near by and cafes, restaurant all around, and so easy to go out of town with Cerillos road just round the corner. We loved it there, Casita Marota is fully equipped and is the perfect place for a couple or family with two children.
I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.
We live in the Palm Springs area, so August in Santa Fe really hit the spot. The condo was very nice. The owners were very pleasant and easy to deal with. The location was perfect - not too far from downtown, near the bus routes, close to the freeway for when we wandered about the area.
Our only complaint was that the TV and Internet were iffy. On the plus side, the owners bent over backward to get them working. The last few days we were there they were problem free.
I seriously need to get the owner over to my own home to redecorate my place or at least take me shopping. This home is beautifully equipped with every kitchen convenience you could think of and impeccably decorated. Although well decorated, it wasn't stifling, it was just perfectly tasteful! It was a joy to sip coffee in the lovely patio, use high end dinnerware and linens and just enjoy such a comfortable home.
Our stay Casita Marota was truly incredible! Warm and inviting we were right at home and enjoyed our morning breakfasts and evening Margaritas on the private high walled patio, lounged in the living room and relaxed on the wonderful tempurpedic King bed (I want one now). The condo is cozy, yet there's room for everyone to have their own space, especially with the strawberry garden at the back. It's perfectly located in a very quiet neighborhood within a 12 minute walk to the Old Plaza (5 minutes to the Rail Yard for the bi-weekly Farmer's Mkt). We visited Bandelier National Monument, had dinner in Taos and visited the Pueblo, hiked Mount Atalaia and just walked to many museums. I recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet and beautiful home to stay in!
What an incredible place to get away from it all, yet be within walking distance to the plaza, restaurants, Rail Yard and more. The condo is very comfortable & quiet, the owners attentive and Santa Fe is just magical. Can't wait to return....
GREAT LOCATION! walk to museums (Children's, Georgia O'Keefe etc), historic Santa Fe Plaza, minutes from many restaurants and leave the car parked at the condo. Go to the opera or browse for that special Maria pot at the Flea Market or see beautiful art at the Spanish Markets.
