Enjoy a Weekend Getaway, Weekly or Monthly vacation home that is clean and comfortable with awesome red rock views all around you, especially of well known Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte from your front living room. We have a private, spacious and grassy back yard with a partially covered patio for relaxing with a margarita or beer. It looks & feels like paradise. Hopefully you'll spot some wildlife in the yard as we frequently have. A variety of fruit trees grow in the back yard. Enjoy the red rock views with a cup of espresso in the morning from the covered front porch too. There is a private upper deck for sunbathing, eating, or taking great pictures of your group with the view in the background. There's a garage and a carport and additional parking for everyone in your party. Also a great JW Home. Paper products, handsoap, spices provided.
If we are ever back to visit Sedona we would try to rent your home again. Everything was GREAT.
We rented this home for 2 families (4 adults; 2 high school cousins), and are so glad we were not in Sedona proper. This treasure in Village of Oak Creek was a welcome respite to the hustle & bustle of Sedona, yet a short, easy drive if you're inclined to explore the city. Accommodations were much roomier than expected. We loved that there were 2 large living spaces - the boys had a place to hang without being underfoot and the adults had a place to visit. Huge TV, although we never even turned it on because the weather was spectacular and we had an over-full schedule of activities planned. We cooked in quite a bit & found the nearby Safeway to be well-stocked for all our needs. Bathrooms were in good repair with plenty of nice linens. Since I only brought 1 pair of shorts (&, as I mention, we had 2 teenage boys with us), we really appreciated the laundry facilities (located in the den, so noise wasn't an issue). The outdoor spaces had lots of seating & were used every single day - especially evening appetizers & wine spent on the garage rooftop patio - the "Garage-io" - watching the sun go down. Views were seriously fabulous and this residential neighborhood was very safe & quiet. I didn't want to leave. I'd love to return some day with the rest of my family - we left a lot of trails to explore next time!
We had a short stay at Karen and John's home and everything was perfect, just as described in the listing. Being Spring Break Sedona was quite busy, their home is close enough to Sedona and surrounding activities with out being located right in the heart of Sedona traffic etc. Close to many trail heads and parks. The sun rises on the mountains across the street were beautiful.
Three hikers from Northern New York found this to be the ideal spot! The views from the house were breath taking, the inside spacious and comfortable and the outside space relaxing. Much preferred being in the peace and quiet of Oak Creek Village rather than in the middle of the hubbub of Sedona. We were close to many trailheads and restaurants and not far from town and shopping. A convenient spot I would recommend to others.
We used this rental for a small 4-day family get-together. We had plenty of space as the house is sectioned nicely - an open kitchen and living/dining room area and another living room area with a large-screened TV. There was an additional fold-out couch in the office/laundry room which could theoretically sleep two more people so the house could actually sleep 12 if you wanted to fill all the sleeping spaces completely. The sleeper sofa in the living room wasn't especially comfortable because of the couch bar, but we put the mattress on the ground and then it was fine. We cooked all of our meals at the house and there were plenty of dishes and Tupperware to prepare and store everything. We also had a small child in our group and used the pack-n-play stored at the house. It was a little old and difficult to set up but worked just fine. Karen was great to work with, the house was clean and in a convenient location, and we had a wonderful stay!
This house is spacious and clean and the kitchen is very well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. The best thing about the house though is the view! It was a little too chilly to spend as much time as I would have liked to on the rooftop patio but I am already planning a return trip to take advantage of this when I return to Sedona. It was so dark at night that I could actually see the Milky Way in the sky... I've only seen it in books before! My group was there to mountain bike and there is a very large and secure garage that is connected to the house that we felt safe keeping our bikes in. The homeowner was easy to reach and she promptly returned my deposit after the trip was over without me even asking. This was an all around successful travel experience.
Seven of us girls spent the weekend here for a friend's 50th birthday. We were instantly taken with the view out front and the backyard patio. Having our morning coffee facing the the red rocks will forever be remembered. The house is clean and spacious. The owners were responsive and nice to work with. Well worth the price too! Will visit again someday!
You will be only minutes from three golf courses, hiking, rock climbing, biking, shopping, spas, swimming, sightseeing, and Indian ruins. You can rent motorcycles, bikes, or go on jeep tours. Balloon rides over Sedona are available and will give you a different perspective of the beautiful red rock formations. The Grand Canyon is only a little over two hours away. Jerome, an interesting artist community nestled on the side of a mountain, is about an hour away. Wupatki Indian Ruins, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater, the Painted Desert, and the Petrified Forest each make a nice day trip, as well as the Verde Valley Railway and Grand Canyon Railway rides. Take the kids to Out of Africa close by for a fun day with the wild animals. There is so much to do and see in the Sedona area you will need a week!
Other Activities: shopping, wildlife viewing, spa, basketball, horsehsoes, mini golf, hot air ballooning
