We love Whitefish! And we know you'll love it too, once you've experienced all that this heavenly hamlet has to offer.

This home is spacious yet cozy. Warm and inviting, and yet close to all that the Flathead Valley has to offer, giving you the opportunity to head out on adventures from Glacier National Park (35 minutes away) and Flathead Lake (35 minutes away) to the nearby Whitefish Lake (5 minutes away) and Whitefish Mountain Resort. (15 minutes away)

Featuring: 2600 SqFt with 3 bedrooms, 2 equestrian themed (one English, one Western) with Queen beds and 1 room with 2 sets of log bunk beds. 2 baths, one with tub. Spacious, open floor plan to enjoy each others company. You can walk out the door and head out on miles and miles of trails, whether the weather is sunny or snowy (we have snow shoes at your disposal), you can get out and experience the beauty of the Big Sky! Our property backs up to hundreds of acres of state land, so if our 40 acres isn't enough, you can hike to hearts content in the back country. OR you can drive 5 minutes in to downtown Whitefish and enjoy great food and excellent shopping!

The lower level of the Chalet is an entertainment area including a pool table, large, stone, wood burning fireplace, wet bar and flat Screen TV. We also have an Apple TV so you can watch Hulu and Netflix. You can relax by the fire or play a game of pool after a long day of boating, skiing, or shopping.

Why The Owner chose Whitefish

We are a family originally from Southern California. We packed up and moved from one-single-season-all-year-round-weather to Big Sky country where the 4 seasons are obvious (even extreme!) after having visited and vacationed here a handful of times. We fell head over heels in love with the area and haven't looked back! This 'Chalet' is located on our 40 acre ranch, our home is on the property as well. We hope to make you feel welcome and we know that you'll fall in love with the beauty of this place too!

Classic Winter Retreat for a Family

Exactly as described. Very friendly owners. They are there if you need them. Great thing is that we did not need them. Sometimes that is the best thing. Whitefish is 5-10 minutes away. The mountain is about 15. Just far away enough for some peace and quiet with two families. Big kitchen area helped feed all eight of us. Can't wait to come back next year.

Amazing Home+ Amazing people = Perfect Stay! :)

From being greeted by Brian on arrival, the lovely welcome basket and the amazing house surrounded by beautiful woodlands I was blown away by this amazing home. If you are considering renting a vacation home in Whitefish you will not be dissapointed. I began writing this review on the third day of our stay and I have stayed in VRBO houses around the world. I have never started writing a review while on vacation but this place inspired me. Elegant, rustic, tasteful, spacious while cozy at the same time. Just a few words to describe our experiences so far.

We are home now and just wanted to add how much Brian and Crystal made our stay. My son had spent the week with mostly adults. On the last day They were hosting a birthday party and kindly allowed Ethan to stay and play with the kids at the party. It meant a lot to Ethan and we appreciated your kindness.

All the best to both of you and thank you once again for an amazing stay!

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family stayed for a week just before Christmas. The house is beautiful. Spacious and everything you need in the kitchen is here. You feel like you're in the woods but are only minutes away from Whitefish and skiing. Glacier National Park is only about 30 mintues away. We unfortunately did not have much snow but we still found much to do. Adjacent to the property is a State Park with miles of trails. We went dogsledding which was a blast! The owners were wonderful. Had lots of suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Would definately stay here again.

Very Peaceful, Beautiful, Everything you could ever want

A friend and me stayed here in September of 2011. It was perfect. It was my first trip to Montana and I had no idea how beautiful and relaxing Montana could be. Combine that with this house and the owners and you couldn't ask for anything more.

This house has a ranch-like setting with the horses, dogs and all the places you can roam. Laying in the hammock out back and watching deer is something I will never forget. Setting on the front porch, reading and listening to all the sounds of nature was extremely relaxing. Being on the balcony at night to see thousands of stars light up the sky is something I've never seen anywhere else.

This set-up is definitely 5 star. The owners are 5 star. The view is 5 star and hanging out in Whitefish is 5 star.

Relaxing on the Ranch

This lovely home is perfectly located for those wanting to visit Glacier Park, Whitefish and Big Mountain. We were two families travelling with four children. There was plenty to do at the home to keep everyone entertained as well as enough space to stretch out. The home is very well kept, with a kitchen stocked with everything you might need. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying at this property. You have the best of both worlds... the peace and quiet of being on the ranch and the wonderful restaurants and farmer's market five minutes down the road in Whitefish.
