BEST FAMILY VACATION COTTAGE AT THE BEACH IN ~NC~

My son was married on the beach and our whole family was able to come and stay together. The deck facing the sound has amazing vistas and became the gathering place for the entire wedding group. The cottage was immaculate. We got the linen service and were very pleased with the quality and cleanliness of all of the sheets (smelled so clean) and towels (so soft). The owner was very easy to communicate with and made incredible efforts to be sure that we had what we needed and were satisfied. The location is ideal (walking distance to center and the Oceanic. Beach access was close. The cottage was first rate. It contained everything that we needed to cook for a large group and even had an additional small fridge for beverages. There were ages 12 to 88 staying with us and everyone agrees this is the best cottage they have ever rented! We had a fantastic time and will definitely recommend Allen Cottage to anyone headed to Wrightsville beach. Thank you for making my son's wedding such an easy long distance project.

This house is outstanding! The pictures do not give rise to how open and big the home is. I was pleasantly surprised with its vaulted ceilings and open floor plan. 3 bedrooms upstairs were used for couples: King room with master bath, queen room and two twins shared and upstairs hall bath. The downstairs was used for solos! two bunk room: one with 5 twins (we designated as girls room) and the other with 3 twin beds (we designated as boys room). these two downstairs bunkrooms shared a common hall bathroom. The common floor had the biggest living room every! huge dining table, accessible kitchen. Also had a separate mini fridge next to the kitchen (we designated as beer fridge!). The bathrooms were very nice and kept up to date. Jessie was a fabulous contact. Easy to reach, checked in on us, made sure we had everything we needed. The grill was available, outdoor shower, easy access to beach less than 2 blocks down the road. Private street facing beach on one side and AMAZING view of the sound on the other. The soundside porch was perfect for our big group to hang out on. We didn't drive once while there. Walked one evening down to the local beach restaurants and bars and walked home. 10 min walk max.

We had a fantastic time! 3 families with 5 kids total, and plenty of space for everybody. Very comfortable for both kids and adults. I loved the deck and the outdoor shower. We were very close to the beach and the inter-coastal, and a short walk to restaurants and stores. Hope to make it back again soon!
