My Favorite Weekend of the Year

I was one of 12 amazing women at our third annual retreat at this BEAUTIFUL home on Lake Gaston. This house/property is incredible! It is very open, spacious, clean, comfortable, and maintained very well, with gorgeous views. I love watching the sunset from the top of the dock. The photos are great and accurate. The owners are friendly, helpful and provide thorough instructions about the property and amenities prior to your stay. They promptly respond to any and all questions, should you have them before, during or after your stay.
Our retreat weekends have been in the late fall/early winter, when the water is too cold for swimming, but the lake certainly adds to the ambiance. I enjoy the cool, crisp, fall air during this time of the year. Great times are had while talking and laughing (not to mention singing, dancing, drumming, s'mores, etc.) around the fire pit in the evenings. The house is perfect for conversation, meditation, creative and art activities, relaxation, and the occasional, spontaneous dance party. Great memories have been created in this home, and I'm just referring to the ones I know about! Before the weekend was over we were already looking forward to and talking about coming again next year. This house/property is truly why I would call this "a retreat." It is perfect for our group of fabulous women, and I'm excited to come back next year. After all, it is my favorite weekend of the year, seriously.
