This is me before I got rid of the tie, the high pressure job and all the world traveling. I know come down to the desert with my wife, Hazel, to enjoy the low humidity, sun, and outstanding golf. We walk around the facility every morning that we are here and walk over to the Westin Hotel for a nice easy breakfast, coffee or a soothing spa treatment. As soon as we walked into this property we knew we wanted it. The spectacular backyard views, the great neighbors and the location from the Westin Hotel gives it that great vacation feeling. When you come to Rancho Mirage it is like walking off the plane in Maui....everything slows down and real living begins. Enjoy the home, the views, and the great location convenient to shopping, dining, movie going and the great Palm Spring area activities.
The location is fantastic. It is on the second hole of the Pete Dye Course facing the #2 Green of the Westin Mission Hills Pete Dye Course. It also faces the San Jacinto Mountains and has outstanding views of two holes and the mountains and setting sun. It is really close to great restaurants, great shopping, the movies, great golf and super Palm Spring Area nightlife.
The people living on Augusta Drive are mostly year long owners or renters and are friendly and outgoing. The staff on the course are extremely helpful, friendly and professional. In the late afternoons we can walk onto the course and practice putting on the number two green which is 40 yards from my back fence.
