Wonderful family getaway

Our family has stayed several times at this cabin, including gathering for Thanksgiving. Each time we find the cabin clean with linens and firewood ready and the grounds nicely kept.
The view from the front porch is peaceful and private and the fireplace warms the gathering area perfectly.
The cabin is close to many of our favorite Vermont locations including the VT Country Store and the wonderful shops and restaurants in nearby Manchester.
I would recommend this rental for your family getaways.

Great vacation home both summer and winter

I have rented this cabin with friends on more than one occasion, both in the winter and the summer which offer equally great but different experiences. Located on the river surrounded by mountains, it is beautiful both winter and summer!

This cabin is in a great location to enjoy the ski mountains (about 45 minutes from Stratton and Snow, and Bromley is even closer) for the day, and not too close that you can't enjoy the "real VT" away from the resorts. In the winter, my friends and I arrived Friday night and headed to the mountain in the morning, where we stayed all day. We got back in time to take a break, and head into Manchester for dinner/drinks. Sunday was spend shopping at the fantastic Manchester outlets, which are only 10 minutes away.

For our summer visit, the skiing was replaced with kayaking in the morning and even more shopping. The town is awesome in the summer for a day out, and sitting on the porch overlooking the VT landscape is the perfect way to wake up.

Both my visits to the Arlington Cabin were better than I could have asked for and I will be returning as soon as I can.

The property was clean, cozy and private. I highly recommend this cabin for a weekend away.

Worth the trip!

Very clean, comfortable cabin. Beautiful mountain views. Lovely landscaping with an abundance of wildflowers! Just what we were looking for in Vermont for a week's getaway and to do some fishing on the Battenkill. Easy proximity to great restaurant's in Manchester as well. Hoping to return this summer again in August!

GREAT Weekend getaway

We had a perfect Memorial Day Weekend at this lovely cabin located on 8 spectacularly beautiful acres. When we first arrived and we stepped out onto the back deck, the view literally took our breath away. Everything was lovely in the cabin, and we had a wonderful dinner at The Perfect WIfe, in nearby Manchester, got everything we needed at the coolest country store right down the road. The next day we had a wonderful 2 hour kayak trip down the Battenkill River (made ever so much better because they literally pick you up at your door, take you to the river, then pick you up 2 hours later and return you home). Long walks in the area are beautiful, and can take you to Norman Rockwell's home, and of course a few hours spent at the outlets in nearby Manchester complete the stay.
Can't wait to go back!!! I highly recommend this to anyone.
