A perfect place for getting back to peace and tranquility awaits you here. Watch fawns, does and bucks in their natural environment as they run, feed and just come to visit. The home is centrally placed on a 40 acre wooded parcel. There are lots of trails, a natural pond and abundant wildlife. There is a fire pit for outdoor evenings after a day of golf on any of 4 local courses including a 5 star jewel just 2 miles away. A 120 meter ski jumping hill (hosting an annual tournament) is next to the Pine Mountain downhill ski area adjacent to the 5 star golf course. We are near 15 local lakes and a half mile to Menominee River, the state line separating us from Wisconsin. Fall finds frequent Aurora Borealis sightings and any clear evening is fabulous for star gazing.

This is a very private setting with no visible neighbors in any direction. Children will love the large yard and skateboarding/ sledding down the long gradual grade of the paved drive. Huge towering pines offer an awesome perspective to the rear and sides with a great area for croquet or bocce in the front. A great outdoor outfitter is located a quarter mile away and 4 wheeling/ snowmobile trail systems are nearby. Hunting and fishing opportunities abound in this area. There are 2 convenience stores just a mile away and any other possible supply needs can be met in town. Several great steakhouses and Italian restaurants are in town should you really want to make contact with the outside world. Ford Airport is 6 miles away featuring a Northwest regional air carrier and Superior Aviation, an FBO.
