The vaulted-height living room features a wood-burning, stone fireplace and a wall of lake view windows, with doors leading onto the large deck. The spacious, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area seats 8-9, plus portable seating for up to 20. Massive hand-peeled structural logs compliment the granite countertops, Black Walnut hardwood floors, and natural wood doors and cabinets. A laundry room with washer and dryer is just off the kitchen.
The main floor has 1 bedroom with a queen sleigh bed, a separate full bath, and a spacious Master Bedroom with a locally made log queen bed, private bath with glass shower, separate jetted tub, and French doors leading to the deck where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and sunrise.
The second story has 2 bedrooms- one bedroom with natural wood sleigh beds- one queen and one twin, the other bedroom with one queen bed. There is one bath, with a jetted tub/shower. At the end of the log bridge, a large 22 foot loft is bordered by handcrafted, hand-peeled log balusters which accent the view through windows to the north, east and west, and eavesdrops over the kitchen and living area. Our growing family of 12 loves to play in the sun and water at the beach. We love to ski in the winter and play games at the cabin with cousins and friends.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2010
Bear Lake is a beautiful place for families to gather and relax and play and make lasting memories. We love summer days on the beach and winter evenings by the fire after skiing. We chose this particular cabin because of the amazing views of the lake through the large windows, the beautiful interior and hand-peeled logs, the convenient location and easy year-round access on paved roads.
The Bear Lake View Lodge has great views of the ever-changing blues of Bear Lake, amazing sunrises, small town feel, is close to the beach and restaurants, and close to skiing
The cabin was great. We slept 20 with room to spare. Kitchen was well stocked. Laundry was handy with full washer and dryer. Loft, play room and back yard was great for the grandkids to romp and play. Kids loved the bunk beds. The view was spectacular especially with the moon rising above the mountains to the east and reflecting on Bear Lake. Playing games on the deck was fun as we looked over the alpine scenery.
We spent three great days at the Lodge for a family reunion. Fifteen on of us including four couples. The Lodge is great with lots of bedrooms and great gathering places. The parking area easily accommodated our cars and toy trailers. We enjoyed the nice lawn area for games and had a great BBQ. Spent good times on the deck with beautiful lake views. Its a super spot.
Our family of 14 enjoyed a fun Thanksgiving Holiday at the Bear Lake Lodge. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. When we arrived we were very excited to find the lodge so beautiful, clean and spacious, offering a stunning view of the lake. We all enjoyed cozy, comfortable beds with plenty of room for everyone. The large bathtub upstairs was a fun place for the little children to play in. The upstairs bedrooms were a little on the warm side the first night but then we opened windows and they were perfect the following nights. Everyone had a fun time playing with the wii. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen, spent an evening decorating gingerbread houses and totally enjoyed working in such a lovely space. We would recommend this location to anyone looking for a great get away with family and friends. Definitely hope to do this again! We loved it!
This was a wonderful cabin. We thoroughly and totally enjoyed our stay here.
Great place for our family reunion, we had 26 ppl and all had a great time. Perfect location, perfect set up with lot's of place, great parking. Very easy to work with them.
WOW!!! Spectacular view, very clean, beautiful cabin feel, tons of space!!! Didn't know what to expect, but when we pulled up we were very excited! The whole family was happy with this place and we had a group of 22. The cabin probably has the best view of the lake you could get in my opinion! We only spent a couple days there and the water was too cold to get in. We went for a little drive and hike a few miles away in Bloomington, ID which was gorgeous, got raspberry shakes (of course), and took the kids to the park. Walked down to the lake from the park on the boardwalk. Mostly just enjoyed being together at the cabin. Fun games of pingpong and kids had fun on the wii.
