About Buddy Beck
I love the outdoors and enjoy so many hobbies that take place here on the Coast. I come here every chance I get to take advantage of what it has to offer. I've been coming to this part of the Oregon Coast for over twenty years, catching Pacific Salmon and Dungeness Crab , cooking and eating them while they're fresh, at the beach. I've spent days hiking on old growth forest trails, or out on the rocky shore of the coastline to watch the sunset on the Pacific Ocean.
Buddy Beck purchased this house in 2006
Why Buddy Beck chose Pacific City
Places like this exist only in dreams for most of us, and when I found this beautiful three story home was available to purchase, I knew that my dreams had come true. The house is close enough to the beach to smell the salt, hear the gulls and the ocean roar, but far enough away to be warm and windless when the beach is windy and cool. During one of our winter storms you can sit by the warmth of the fireplace and watch the winds bend the trees and waves break over the dunes. It has everything I wanted in a house and is close to all the things I go to the Oregon Coast to enjoy.
What makes this house unique
One of the things I enjoy about this house is the quiet, private setting it has and the ease of finding a quiet place in the house to read or just enjoy some private time. Views from any of the three large decks make you realize why you came to the coast. The hot tub is in a private yard with an ocean view and at night there are more stars in the sky than one would think possible. The children's area is on the lower level with it's own living room and TV, with games and puzzles and has 4 beds and a full bath. They love having their own space.
