Tree Top Hideaway at Sand Lake Estuary, Low Season - Rent 2, 3rd Nite Free

One of the features that I love about Tree Top Hideway is the soothing sound of the ocean when I step outside on the spacious deck or sit in the clear bubbly water of the hot tub. I especially enjoy relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings, because I can hear the ocean and see the stars. Another bonus of the HIdeway is that even when it is drizzling rain and overcast outside, the abundance of large windows and sliding glass doors let in so much light that you can still feel connected to the outside while sitting in front of the warm cozy fireplace reading, tallking with friends or watching a movie.
Another positive for me is the cleanliness and order. For example,the bedrooms and bathrooms are always sparkling clean and anything you might need is there and placed conveniently for easy access. The kitchen is also well stocked with all the appliances and utensils you would need to cook a Thanksgiving dinner if you wanted.
I stayed at the Hideway about a month ago with family and we had a great time hiking, clamming, crabbing, and fishing at Whalen Park on the Sand Lake Estuary which is basically right across the road. It only takes a few minutes to be there and there is a wonderful hobbit-like trail at the park and it is a short walk across the flats at low tide to be at the ocean. Delicious food and excellent IPA is available in Pacific City only a few miles drive into town and there is a small grocery if you happen to forget a necessary item.
In addition, I like the fact that it is only a short drive from the Hideway to the Three Capes: Cape Kiwanda, Cape Lookout, and Cape Mears! There is no end to exploring, sight seeing,and bird watching that can be done within a short distance from the beach house!
I would recommend the Tree Top Hideway highly to anyone who enjoys spending time in that area. Another plus, the owner is friendly, pleasant and accommodating.
