Great Set Up For Our Family Reunion!

We booked the Arosa Chalets site unseen earlier in the spring for our summer family reunion. The Chalets were everything that had been advertised and more! The owners were easy to work with and had a tremendous amount of helpful advice to make the weekend a success. The kids loved the hot tub, the patios were perfect for picnics, the grills (and everything else) were in working order and easy to use. The kitchens were very well stocked with anything you could possibly need to cook and they were generous with staples for the house. Televisions and wifi were state of the art, easy to use and up to date. For instance, the direct tv included the ability to tape programs so we could tape the British Open and Tour D France and watch both without commercials. (The four tvs also meant the kids could watch what they wanted in a separate room.
We had an interesting visitor one night around 10pm. We had served a Mexican dinner and put the trash out on the deck. One of the local bears came to see what we had left! Of course, we had been warned to not put the trash out - as the landlord supplies enclosed trash cans in the garage, but we did not get the word around to all 26 people in our party. No damage was done and it added a little excitement to our trip.
Overall, a great place, great management team (brothers), convenient location to Vail and perfect for our family.
