This little home is located on the back side of a vacation rental home. It has its own alley access, drive way and entrance. Perfect little house for young couple or someone on a traveling budget. All new furniture, flat screen television, very clean and cozy.

It is just 21/2 blocks from the Del Mar cliffs and minutes from Torrey Pines beach.

There is no ocean view from this unit.

Dogs friendly for an additional deposit and fee.

Minumum 3 nights during slow seasons.

Summers and track is one week minimum

Keywords: One Bedroom, Bath, Kitchen, Patio, Parking. Perfect for Young Couple on Budget.

This back house has it's own entrance, parking and alley access. Just 2 blocks from Torrey Pines Cliffs and Ocean. NOT walking distance to a beach. Beach is a 3 minute drive. You cannot see the ocean from this unit.

This unit is very popular during the Del Mar Track Season! We are just minutes from Torrey Pines Golf course, downtown Del Mar, and the race track. Hop on the 5 South and your just 15 minutes from Downtown San Diego. Shopping, restaurants, beaches and more. Del Mar is an incredible place to be!

Pleasant stay in a convenient location

We rented this place for a month in Nov. The cottage is kept very clean and tidy. All supplies, including kitchenware, toiletry, bedding, are very well prepared before we moved in. Furniture is well maintained. The flat screen TV was a plus. There is a little garden where you can have your morning coffee. The location is unbeatable, walking distance to the beach and minutes of driving to Del Mar downtown. The landlord is kind and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Nice place but BAD experience

First let me start off by saying this place isn't cheap its 'well priced' for location and the amenities. I'm afraid my wife and I just didn't have a good experience.

Pros: Nice, clean little cottage for a couple who doesn't care about the bells and whistles of a 4 star hotel. Close to the beach and ocean. Quiet neighborhood and lets face it Del Mar is a great little town.

Cons: My wife and I didn't have hot water for 4 out of the 6 nights we stayed! We had to find a 24 hour gym one night so we could shower with hot water! The water heater broke apparently right before we arrived and the man to fix it couldn't make it out until the day before we were leaving! The owner of the cottage apologized but didn't give us a discount or anything for vacationing without hot water 75% of our time. I really liked the place but the care from the owner was sub-par and I didn't feel like we should have payed the full price without hot water!
