Talk about the WOW factor! This home is incredible! I cannot believe how such a large "lodge" can feel so comfortable! We had the entire family as far as Texas for a very special birthday celebration. All the adult children and Aunts & Uncles. It was perfect. Each couple had their own bedroom and all the adult children are "foodies." They had two full kitchens to cook in with every possible item you could possibly need. Even though the weather was below zero for most of our stay, we were warm and snug in front of the two fireplaces. We took a family "walk" across the lake! We had a little adventure with the loss of electricity during a wind storm, but every candle was lit and we had birthday cake by candleight. The sauna and outdoor spa were so welcome in the cold! I truly believe there isn't a better place to have a family reunion. I just wish my husband had been born in June or July instead of January! Thank you Misty for such a special place. We will be back for our next family reunion if you will have us!

This is a lovely home! Our party consisted of 4 adult children and spouses, our mother, and various children/nieces/nephews. All were impressed and pleased with the house. It is more impressive than the pictures demonstrate – huge and beautifully decorated. It is obvious the owners take pride in and care about the home. The view from the deck overlooking the lake is wonderful. We have rented homes for a week for the past 4 summers, and this home wins! There was plenty of room - the bedrooms were all lovely, and the beds very comfortable. The 2 kitchens had everything we could ever want - plenty of dishes, pots and pans, serving pieces, etc. It was great having an extra fridge in the lower level too. Bathrooms were nice. This place was very clean - impressive, considering the cleaning crew has only 5 hours to clean this massive home! The home is right on a nice small lake - very clean and clear water. We rented a pontoon boat - I highly recommend that - the lake is nice to putter around. We could not have a fire due to burn restrictions in Wisconsin - but made do with microwave s'mores! Owner was easy to work with - the list she sent advising what was available at the home and what to bring was helpful – would suggest adding paper towels and kleenex to the list. try the local butcher shop in Wautoma - it is amazing. The deli combination antique store in Wautoma is a perfect spot for lunch - the MOST amazing menu! We will definitely consider this home again – the location for family coming from central Illinois, Chicago, Minneapolis and upper Michigan was perfect. The listing depicts the amenities perfectly, and we would recommend this home - as long as you don't want the week we want next year!!

We planned this trip with 17 thirtysomething friends to just hangout, play games, enjoy the hot tub, chill by the fireplaces, and drink some fun beverages. I think it's safe to say that everyone was very impressed with the accommodations. There was plenty of space for all of us to sleep and the home was very clean. The upstairs kitchen was AMAZING and very well-equipped. It was nice having the second oven downstairs on "make your own pizza night" though. All the bedding (which I am most picky about) was up to my standards. The downstairs bedroom was a bit musty and could use a little up-grading, but it was still adequate. Our group had a fantastic time, we can't wait for the next time!
