This was our 2nd visit to this house with all its modern amenities, spectactular views and sunsets. We have visited with a large group of parents and teenagers and more recently just with adults and loved it each time. It has spacious accommodation with fabulous entertaining areas for large groups. We loved to have cocktails in the tower watching the sunsets and then bar-b-q's on the pool terrace. There are many local restaurants for those who prefer not to cook. There is plenty to do for the adventurous or sun worshippers. We would highly recommend this property.
Wow!! What a beautiful property-- not sure if I preferred the sunrise over the mountains or the sunset over the ocean - we woke up early with the sounds of monkeys and birds making a racket ! The house itself was perfect for our large family - lot's of places to retreat to to read a book. All agreed we really wished we could have stayed for longer. We got to collect about a dozen eggs from the chicken coup daily & ran out of egg recipes! As we are from Australia (and don't speak a word of Spanish) it was especially convenient that Gerardo the caretaker is the local English teacher! On several occasions, we ordered delicious authentic Tico food right around the corner from Patricia ! Food buying required a little planning as the closest real grocery store was about 15 mins away.
Lot's of activities within 20 minutes of the property-- Jim loved the surf , I loved snorkeling at San Juanillo - & the kids liked the canopy and ATV tours. We didn't get to go horseback riding or fishing.. as we just seemed comfortable right at the house. This was our first trip to Costa and hope we can make it back.
