With dreamy views overlooking cobblestoned streets, this beautiful, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom penthouse condominium is the ideal base for short or long stays in Buenos Aires. Situated in the quiet, low-rise sector of Palermo Soho between Plaza Serrano and Plaza Armenia, the location simply could not be better!
The building complex combines convenience, style and wonderful open spaces. Access to the apartment is by elevator from a central court. At the back a tranquil garden and in-ground swimming pool hide behind ivy covered walls. The building is also secure, with doorman living on-site.
The interior is very bright and comfortable. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in an abundance of natural light and fresh air. The decor includes a mix of antique and modern furnishings and original paintings. All surfaces are finished in clean, natural materials.
The apartment covers over 1000 sq. ft (100 sq. m) with open-concept common area that connects two bedrooms on either end, each with en-suite bathroom. It is the perfect floor plan for accommodating families with children or couples who are travelling together.
The living room features a spacious sofa, large HD television with extended digital cable package, a wood-burning fireplace and an office corner with large work desk and ergonomic studio chair. The dining room serves up to six people and leads to a covered balcony that offers a wonderful view of leafy El Salvador Street.
The master bedroom includes a King bed with the same mattress set used in top hotels, a high-definition TV, both sheer and blackout curtains and silent hot/ cold air conditioning. Its bathroom has plenty of counter space, a cupboard, toilet, bidet and standard bath/ shower. The second bedroom has two separate Twin beds that can be configured as a Queen with deluxe pillowtop. Its bathroom features a toilet and large marble shower with rainhead and skylight. A baby cot is available upon request.
Technofiles will feel at home! Electronics include iPod/ iPhone stereo dock, 2 x HDTVs with comprehensive cable packages (including BBC, Fox News and other English channels), high-speed WiFi internet and international fax (send and receive). Telephones include 2 x mobile phones, a local land-line and an IP phone with North America area code that lets you make/ receive international calls free of charge!
While the apartment is often rented for its location alone, its pièce de résistance is a private rooftop terrace that provides stunning panoramic views of the Palermo Soho skyline. Accessed by interior stairwell, it is perfect for sunbathing, crowd gazing or, if you like, preparing your own asado on its traditional charcoal parrilla (BBQ).
The property is managed by a very friendly and professional local firm that will arrange your check-in/ check-out and respond to any incidents during your stay.

We only had three nights but I wish it could have been longer. This 3rd floor apartment is very large and open. There is a balcony on the main floor and also a huge terrace that is reached by a flight of stairs. There is a table, chairs and lounge chairs on the terrace and it's a great place to sit and have a glass of wine while enjoying the view. We really appreciated the washing machine too.
The whole booking process was smooth and professional. Any questions we had were answered promptly and we felt very welcome on our arrival. Between David and the rental agent, we got a lot of advice and helpful information about the area.
There are so many great restaurants and cafes in this neighborhood that we ate at a different place every day and hardly used the kitchen. ( Don Julios and Las Horas being our favorites). We also checked out a couple of good ice cream shops too. We found it very easy to get around on the underground Metro and there is a stop not far from the apartment.
The apartment is in a secure building in a nice neighborhoodand and we always felt perfectly safe.
I would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to friends.
At least it's the best of any I've rented so far in BA. David is wonderful to deal with, he really cares about your comforts. Apartment is located perfectly in the heart of everything Soho. From the terrace you can feel the energy of this town. You can see people walking and dining on the street and hear music playing. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable, and has a nice floor plan for sharing. Highly recommend it!
Palermo Soho is the place to stay in B.A with its great cafes, interesting boutiques, and sense of design and style. This apartment is right in the heart of it and one of the nicest rentals I have had while traveling abroad on a conservative budget. Plus, the rental management company is very helpful and fluent in English. After coming from Brazil where the rental management representative didn't speak a word of English, I realized just how useful this is for answering simple questions about the apartment and the neighborhood. Highly recommended for anyone other than families with small children (due to the modern layout and non-childproof stairs to the rooftop patio).
The apartment offers great and very confortable confort for your stay in Buenos Aires. Especially the big roof top terrace is the perfect relaxing zone.
The area is very safe and in the middle of great restaurants and trendy shops.
This was the 2nd time we have rented this attractive penthouse in the heart of Palermo Soho and we were once again delighted with our decision. The unit is exactly as depicted in the website photos, bright and open, air-conditioned, comfortably furnished with well equipped kitchen and bath facilities. The private rooftop terrace is a lovely space to relax with a book or enjoy sunset cocktails. Despite the activity of the neighbourhood, the apartment is quiet at night and peaceful sleep assured.
The apartment location is an ideal base from which to explore Palermo Soho / Hollywood / Viejo. All the great restaurants and shops are waiting to be discovered by strolling a few blocks in any direction. Local markets, fine wine vendors, ice cream shops and pharmacy are all close at hand. Going further afield to San Telmo, Retiro and Recoleta barrios is an easy 15 – 20 minute taxi ride away and after spending a day in those busy zones, returning to laid back Palermo is a pleasure.
The Canadian owner and local property management company are attentive, easy to work with and do their best to ensure the visitor’s experience is enjoyable.

We loved staying here. The building is understated and really well located. No lobbies to walk through, which we liked, but yet very secure. Excellent instructions for the apartment and surrounding area were very helpful. The outlook was very green and gave the apartment a feeling of being very open. Our family of 4 enjoyed the apartment and we used the rooftop terrace for a BBQ. The pool in the building was very secluded and during the hot summer made for a refreshing end to hot days. Surrounded by boutiques and cafés but still quiet at night we could not have asked for a better position. Dealing with the owner and rental assistant was also very easy and efficient. My only suggested improvement would be to add fly screens to some windows and doors to allow for leaving open at night. Thanks for a great stay during our 2 weeks in BA.
