Gourmet kitchen with comfortable bar stools, eat-in kitchen, formal dining room. Loads of dishes, glassware, and serving pieces for entertaining. Master closet has a lighted, sit down make-up station for the female guest.
Cabinet full of board games and puzzles for quality family time spent 'in.' Large HDTV with quality surround system. Flat screen TVs in all bedrooms.
We are avid golfers and have been enjoying the beautiful California desert since the mid 1980's. It is truly a special place in the world. We have some super-special dogs ourselves and are always appreciative when they can join us on vacations so it was an easy decision to designate our property 'Pet Friendly.'

This home--in the gated Montage community--is a home-base from which to enjoy so many of our valley's golf courses, shopping venues, restaurants, attractions and nearby events. Or, if you'd rather stay put, enjoy your vacation days soaking up the sun by the pool, taking walks around the quiet and safe neighborhood, or relaxing in the shade with a good book in the comfy outdoor furniture.
We stayed at this home at the beginning of January for one week. Everything about this house was amazing! First of all, I truly appreciate and thank the owners for allowing dogs at their home. It is so hard to find a nice home with luxury furnishings that allows dogs and the owner was so accommodating. The house has a tall, fully fenced yard that my dogs loved! It is also rare to find a rental with beautiful furniture and linens --- we truly felt like we were staying in a home. The kitchen / family room area was great for cooking and having a few friends over for New Years Eve. There's an awesome grill and hot tub outdoors ... There was no reason to leave the home! I also loved the gated community - beautifully decorated for Christmas - and safe for night time walks. The neighborhood is so convenient to all grocery stores, Target, and shopping on Hwy 111. We absolutely loved our stay and the owners were prompt and very friendly to answer any questions we had. One special touch was a welcome note and a list of restaurants / places to go in the area. We would love to stay again next year! Thank you!
My family of 5 just enjoyed our "best ever" Christmas holiday in Indio! The house was our home for the holidays and lived up and even surpassed our hopes and expectations. The pictures and earlier reviews in VRBO sold me on selecting this home over others and the process of getting contracted with the Owners couldn't have been quicker or easier and they are a delight to do business with.
We arrived on Christmas Day with travelers making their was from Miami, New York and LA. We were five plus our little dog Rocky - who just loved the freedom of roaming the house and the backyard! The codes to get in the gates and the front door key location were known to us and the arrival was flawless and easy.
Our first impressions were - "Wow! This place is nicer than the photos!" We felt immediately at home and made the place ours! We filled up the fridge and pantry by shopping nearby at Trader Joes and Stater Bros. and enjoyed the kitchen and grill for several nights of cooking-in. It seemed the restaurants, movies, shopping and other adventures were nearby and relatively simple to find. The location was simply perfect.
Speaking of adventures, we made our way 3 times to Palm Desert and the hills outside town near the Bighorn Country Club and went hiking on the "Art Smith Trail." It was fantastic, relatively strenuous and super exercise - but we were able to do it with ages 26-56 enjoying it immensely.
So, we plan to return and as the patriarch of the adult group - I thrived at hearing so often how much every family member loved "our Indio home" and how they all want to come back and how we had just experienced our "best ever Christmas" together.
stayed here for coachella for two years in a row, coming back again. the pool and spa and outside living areas are so relaxing, the house is completely functional and has everything you need, the decor is comfortable and welcoming, and the beds (beds in rental houses often get overlooked) are awesome. the owner and his wife could not be any easier to deal with, truly great hosts, easy communication, quick to respond and trouble shoot (not many troubles, just things like "where is the switch for x light"). i'm a fan and i'm coming back.
My family and I had a wonderful 10 day stay and 3 golfing friends joined me for another 5 days of golf after they left.
The location was excellent for all involved. The house is spacious and comfortable and very well equipped. There was 6 in our party,our daughter and 3 grandkids 10,12 and 16 and we cooked in house a fair amount and always found every thing we needed at hand. The pool and patio area is perfect for sunlovers or if you like the shade there's lots of covered area to also relax in. Great patio BBQ.
Great location close to the polo club, horse show and retail along 111. Great owners who looked after any issue that came up and there were very few. Property was as promissed, very clean and very well looked after. We will be back.
Very nice home, well maintained and nicely furnished; great pool and jaccuzi. The owners make every effort to accommodate. The home is clean, well supplied, nice linens and towels and has a very livable floor plan. If you decide to rent this home, please take good care of it because I will rent it again and I want it to stay nice.

Coachella 1 - April 11 & 12 ($7,000 minimum charge for up to 5 nights.)
Coachella 2 - April 18 & 19 ($7,000 minimum charge for up to 5 nights.)
Stagecoach - April 24 & 25 ($5,000 minimum charge for up to 5 nights.)
$1,000 deposit due to confirm reservation, which will be applied toward the rental fees. Additional, security deposit of $500 due by separate check with full rental payment 14 days before check in. This deposit will be returned upon inspection of property as long as there is no damage, excessive cleaning need and inventory is intact.
