HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS BUNGALOW - NEAR THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME

This place is absolutely beautiful. Everything from the linens, kitchen, bathroom and furniture was spotless. The home was beautifully decorated with artworks and great books to read in the reading alcove. The spring flowers in the garden were gorgeous. I was very lucky with the weather. I did not feel worried at night and the street was surprisingly quiet. The bed in the master bedroom was heaven. Trader Joes and Melrose Drive are very short walks away. I walked everwhere. Hollywood Blvd is only a 20 minute walk. I absolutely loved staying there. Thankyou Scott for making my stay magic! Highly recommended :)

We stayed here in early April with our 2 kids (age 9 and 8) and our elderly dog. We've rented a lot of vacation homes but never one this comfortable, clean, and charming! We felt totally spoiled the whole time we were there, as if we were in a high-end 5-star hotel. I'd describe this home as a traditional but "modern chic" urban cottage. I appreciated that it didn't have that uber-slickster shiny trendy Hollywood feel that so many people/places have in this part of Cali. Rather, it was a cozy and serene refuge, and we looked forward to returning to it every evening.

The owners have amazing taste, from the lovely furniture to the beautiful art and photography on the walls. The kitchen is totally updated with new stainless steel appliances and a convenient washer & dryer. The bedrooms are very quiet with super comfy beds and luxurious linens. And did I mention CLEAN? The place was utterly spotless, like someone went through and scrubbed every square inch with a toothbrush! The bathroom is huge, bright, and crisp with gorgeous tiling everywhere. Plenty of towels and extra bed linens are provided. The garden out back is an adorable little oasis, with a fountain, potted plants, vines...and pretty twinkle lights strung up all around. We loved relaxing out there. :-)

The location is awesome -- just a few blocks from all the fun Melrose restaurants and shops, and Trader Joe's is a 3 minute walk away. The neighborhood is tree-lined and very cute, with lots of joggers and bikers out and about. The owners provided 2 street parking passes...don't forget to observe the street cleaning signs! If I *had* to nitpick anything about this stay, it would be that the neighbor's landscapers started using the leaf-blower and lawn-mower at 7am on Thursday morning. Egads!

I cannot wait for our next trip to L.A. so we can stay here again. If we are ever fortunate enough to have our own weekend home, I would model it after this one! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! You were so easy to work with - always available, helpful, and very nice! Oh, and one more thing, +100000 bonus points for being dog friendly! Yay!

This totally remodel home was perfect for our needs. We wanted to be close to our daughter in West Hollywood and a little more room than a typical hotel room.
It was nice having the kitchen to enjoy snacks and have our wine of wine at the end of the day.
I was a little concern about downtown neighborhoods but everyone was friendly.
The Big surprise was that the tennis center was right next door and everyone there was friendly.
