Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-4)

This beachfront condo has the lowest beach access in Lincoln City, and maybe the entire Oregon Coast.

My little slice of heaven features a full kitchen, two beds, two full bathrooms and an Internet-connected television that streams Netflix and other treats. This is Unit 214 at the historic Sea Gypsy, which I call 'The Beachelor Pad.' Although it's my personal bachelor pad, this is a great condo for families with kids. The murphy beds in both sleeping areas fold up against the wall, giving you plenty of room to play.

Large windows in the oceanside suite give you an amazing view of the beach. Watch for harbor seals in the shallow waves below, and the waterspouts of migrating grey whales on the horizon. I've even seen a pod of orca whales heading north in the shallow waves this year.

My condo is 634 square feet and has two separate sleeping areas that can hold up to 5 vacationers. I've stocked the kitchen with enough cookware and dishes to meet all your culinary needs.

The immediate beach access sets the Sea Gypsy apart from other vacation spots on the Oregon Coast. Play in the sand, wade in the ocean and go for one of those famous long walks on the beach. Then, at the end of the day, you're ready for some cutting edge technology and entertainment.

I've connected a new device to my 42-inch flatscreen called a Roku 2. Through it, you can stream Internet-based services to your TV, such as Netflix, HuluPlus, HBOGO, Epix and Pandora. I provide these premium movie and music services free to you. You have access to thousands of movies and TV shows during your stay. And it's all free.

I am a self-employed real estate portfolio manager, so I appreciate a technology-friendly vacation spot. I've installed a direct Internet connection to my condo that is password protected for your exclusive use.

However, when it's all said and done vacationers don't stay with me for the Internet or the free Netflix movies. It's all about the beach right outside the front window, Mother Nature's greatest attraction. The Sea Gypsy is adjacent to the D River — the shortest river in the world. Take a 10-minute walk north of the Sea Gypsy to some natural tide pools, where you will find a wide range of sea life, including sea urchins, starfish and other surprises.

I have been visiting the Sea Gypsy since 1978, the year I was born. My parents purchased Unit 222 in 1971 when the Sea Gypsy opened. I manage their condo and several more here for friends of mine.

The idea dawned on me recently to purchase a unit for myself and use it as a vacation rental as well as my own private getaway. If you own a business, provide a unique service or have your own private getaway, I will even consider swapping this vacation spot with you for something of equal value. Just ask.

There is nowhere in Oregon where you can get closer to the beach.

When you stay here, you’re a short walk from the downtown art district, several fine restaurants, taverns, antiques stores and the Tanger Outlets — Lincoln City’s No. 1 shopping attraction.

Chinooks Winds Casino is just 5 minutes away via the free shuttle (provided by the casino on weekends) or a $7 cab ride. It is about a 40 minutes by foot if you're interested in one of those famous long walks on the beach.

The Sea Gypsy is adjacent to the D River, which comes from the mouth of Devil's Lake just across the highway. Devil's Lake features a multitude of recreational opportunities from jet skiing to fishing and boats rentals. Several public parks ring the lake, and if you're coming to Lincoln City with kids we highly recommend Regatta Grounds Park with its enormous castle playground.

I require a $200 down payment — what I call the "reservation deposit" — to hold the condo. I ask for the remaining balance two weeks before your arrival. I welcome full payments in advance.

This was the perfect place to stay for an amazing vacation. It is a beautiful condo, perfect for our family of 4. We let the kids have the bedroom, and slept in the living room so we could open the windows and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. Beautiful view, clean, quiet, comfortable. We absolutely recommend this rental to anyone. Lincoln City has tons of activities for every age. We went to the Ripley's museum, the Hatfield Science Center, and the Sea Lion Caves. We also enjoyed agate searching, clamming, crabbing, and fishing. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at this wonderful condo. It made our wonderful vacation even better!

Wonderful stay!

We arrived at the condo and were immediately in awe over the view. Naturally it was a rainy weekend but hearing the ocean and watching it through the windows made for a wonderful beach trip. The kitchen had all the cooking essentials, the beds were comfortable, the decor inviting, and we enjoyed some TV shows on the Roku. Beach access is wonderfully close, just down a few steps. A perfect girls weekend!

We had an amazing time. You couldn’t be any closer to the beach. Very reasonably priced. My children loved it. When we weren’t walking the beach, making sand castles, flying kites or swimming in the pool the kids were having a blast with the Roku 2. They loved playing Angry Birds and my husband and I enjoyed streaming music and movies. The kitchen is fully stocked and had everything you would find at home. We had such a great time we stayed an extra night. We will definitely be staying here for our next vacation. Thanks Troy!!

Perfect place to stay!

The only problem was that we couldn't stay longer! The location is perfect, the beach access is easy, very convenient. We had a blast flying kites and relaxing on the wonderful sand. We had a perfect view of the sunset, sunrise and the mesmerizing waves from the window. I stayed with my two children - my son has autism and it was perfect for him to have his own space in the bedroom while still having plenty of room for my daughter and I in the main room. It's very peaceful and feels very private. The condo is clean, comfortable and has a well equiped kitchen. Pool was nice and warm. The entertainment system that provides streaming of music, movies and tv shows was an extra plus. Will be coming back for sure, there is no better deal out there and the owner made it so easy and affordable!
