Wonderful Winter Retreat

This is a great property with lots of amenities and things to do in the area. We were still discovering new adventures the day we left! The owner is extremely easy to work with and willing to answer any and all questions.
My family particularly enjoyed kayaking around the sound, viewing the wildlife, and snorkelling with a great company, Quiessence. We all tried paddle boarding for the first time and my Dad spent many an hour fishing off the dock. We fed many fish to the pelicans and Freddie the Egret! All of my grown kids had to take a nap on the upper deck where the most comfortable chaise lounges in existance live. The house was extremely comfortable for six. Do be cautious if you rent a boat- the sound is surprisingly shallow!
John Pennecamp, a great state park, is only two miles away, jet ski rentals are across the highway, and a huge community pool is about five miles away. There are restaurants galore, which we made delightful use of in our search for the best Key Lime pie in Key Largo. The winners were a three-way tie between the Fish House, The Big Chill and The Bayside Grille. And yes, they even sell whole pies to take out!
Was a wonderful winter break, and would highly recommend it to chase away those winter blahs!
