Kona Onenalo is a ONE-OF-A-KIND property on the beautiful Kona Coast. There are 12 identical and individual homes in this quiet, gated community. The complex sits on a point of land adjoining La Aloa Bay, and is just a 3 minute walk to Magic Sands Beach. You'll love the sunsets!
The House is two stories, with two bedrooms upstairs, complete with king-size beds and private baths. The master bedroom has spectacular ocean views with only the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep. The living room features huge sliding doors which open to the covered lanai to create true island living. While sitting on the lanai, be sure to keep an eye open for spinner dolphins, and, in the winter, humpback whales!
The pool, spa and grounds are expertly maintained. Within minutes of your arrival, you will feel like you have your own piece of paradise.

We purchased our vacation home in this location because Kona is the combination of the best that Hawaii has to offer. Sun, surf, and lots of ALOHA!
Since each of the units is an individual building, you get the benefits of renting a home, while enjoying the convenience of a condominium. Because the complex is only 12 units, you can have the privacy you want, but you are likely to make new friends by the pool during the unofficial sunset happy hour!
A great place to stay
We recently had the opportunity to stay at Kona Onenalo owned and operated by Jeff and Brenda Gilb. The home is absolutely amazing; the décor is beautiful, lots of room for everyone (we brought six). The Gilb’s take great care in ensuring that you get the most out of your vacation. Lots of books and literature to point you in the right direction in deciding what you want to do and where you want to go. The views from the lanai are beautiful and the ever sounding crashing of the waves leaves a memorable impression. Also from the lanai you can see whales and dolphins surfacing in the ocean. We actually saw two humpback whales, what a great sight to see. This is a gated community which provides safety a very relaxing stay.
The Island takes on many faces as you travel around; the waterfalls and rain forest near Hilo and the charm that Kona offers. As we traveled around we really grew to appreciate everything Kona has to offer. The main village in town is wonderful for walking and shopping, has one of the best markets I’ve ever seen. Kona really has something for everyone; this was the best vacation me and my family ever had, if you want to stay in a beautiful home with close access to the best the Big Island has to offer this is for you.
