It's paradise! Renovated and updated with charming decor. Walk in the door and enjoy watching the pelicans, birds, fish jumping, dolphins gliding by! We've even seen the great manatees in our bay.
Right across the street from the Ritz Carlton Hotel - plus wonderful casual dining within one block. The grocery store, shops, tennis courts, library right up the street. The Mercado shopping center with a Whole Foods is at 41 and Vanderbilt Beach Road! The Barefoot Pelican is a smaller gated condo complex, only 20 units in our waterfront building, 60 units total.
There is a beautiful pool and spa, as well as a covered dining area with a grill, and dockside bathing area. You can rent a boat within the same block and dock it right at the barefoot Pelican!
Completely turn key, beach towels & chairs. Linens and beautifully furnished. Both the main living area and master bedroom overlook Vanderbilt Bay. Carefree vacation spot. You won't want to leave.
Our favorite place: We love being at the Barefoot Pelican-it's such a nice smaller complex with the best location you can imagine. Just a short walk to the beautiful white sand beach, always sparkling clean and inviting. The public access is very close where you
can access to the beach~Cabana Dan's rents cabanas, suntan lotions, beach chairs, etc. There are restrooms and showers to wash off the sand. If you prefer an area of the beach that is less active just walk a little bit to the north to the beach entrance~ between the large yellow building and the pink one. It's a great place to take the beach chairs and a bottle of wine to watch the sunset!
Lunch or dinner on the deck: just down the street-on the way to the beach. Great food within a block~take your pick, causal dining at The Lighthouse sitting outside overlooking the bay or right on the beach at The Turtle Club. Great food and the sunset is free! You can also walk over to the Ritz-they have a great outside venue for casual dining-we walk over from the beach. Of course you can do more formal there, as well.
Everything you could want is just a short distance from the condo, a brand new Publix . Whole foods is less than a mile on the corner of Vanderbilt Beach Road and 41, at The Mercado, a brand new shopping venue with great shops, luxury movie theater, Capital Grill +++!
Our condo is on the 2nd floor, close to the elevator. We have an assigned parking space, as well.
What a beautiful vacation-the location is fantastic-we watched the dolphins from the lanai, while we drank our morning coffee. Short walk to the beach and afternoons at the pool! Beautifully furnished and very well equipped condo with everything we needed. We really hated to leave and can't wait to come back.
We are located directly on the bay, in Vanderbilt Beach, Naples, Florida, about a 30 minute drive from Southwest International Airport in Ft. Myers, Florida. Route 75 South from the airport to exit 111 (sign says Immokalee/Naples Park) continue west across Rt.41 (Tamamami Trail) to the end at Wiggens Park ,turn south on Gulfshore Drive (1.2 miles)to Southbay Drive turn east (left)-we are also just north of Vanderbilt Beach Road. From our condo it is just a short stroll to the beautiful white sand beach~rental cabanas~restroom facilities all right there. Grocery stores, drug stores~tennis courts~library and even Whole Foods within a mile. The Ritz Carlton is across the street (to the south)with a great beachside bar and restaurant-fine dining, as well. The Lighthouse Inn is just down the block-outside deck with the best burgers and grouper sandwiches. If convenience is what you are looking for here it is. We are sure you will enjoy your stay!
