Key Largo is one of the largest keys in the Florida chain. It is only one hour away from Miami and two hours from Key West. You will find everything you need right here, from large grocery stores to small shops, diving and fishing, and local restaurants featuring delicious meals. There are a vast number of restaurants to try; most are right on the water and some in walking distance of the condo. Just over a mile away is John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The living coral reef is world famous for scuba diving and snorkeling. Key Largo is known as the Dive and Snorkel Capital of the World!
This recently renovated and redecorated condo has two bedrooms and a bath and one half. All that you could ask for is in the kitchen. Nothing is missing if cooking is a passion!
The Florida Keys is a 120 mile-long island chain. Shipwrecks and coral formations inspire the divers, while snorkelers enjoy the more shallow reefs. This island chain is North America’s only living coral barrier reef. The reef is protected and was established as a Natural Marine Sanctuary by the U.S. Government. John Pennekamp Park is less than a mile away and offers a beach and snorkeling opportunity.
Abundant reefs teeming with marine life provides many locations for divers to view the coral formations. There are dive and snorkel areas that are available to view whether this is your first adventure, or if you are an advanced and technical diver. Spiegel Grove wreck is a retired Navy transport ship that was intentionally sunk to support the coral reef eco-system. There are many challenging wrecks in the area. Guides, instructors and charters are all easily and readily available in close proximity to the condo.
Big game fishing in the waters of the Florida Keys and Key Largo abound. Boat charters are available in the area, and you can even hire a guide. Fish in the gulfstream range from sailfish, marlin, mahi mahi (dolphin) to tuna. Flats fishing awaits anglers looking to hook tarpon, and bonefish.
You can bring your own boat, and dock it right at the marina below, easily visible from the condo (up to 30') A two-person kayak is also available for your use and is located on the premises. (by request)

I am a Canadian who is experienced in managing vacation rental properties. Dealing with me will be a pleasant experience. I enjoy informing my guests of the many things to do in the Key Largo area.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2009
We truly enjoyed our stay in your condo. It is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We appreciated that we were close to Winn-Dixie and could alternately enjoy some home cooking and excellent cuisine down in Key West.
The kayaking was fun and the entire family enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool. Colin and my son also had a go at playing tennis one afternoon.
I love the photos of the coral reef; I admired them every time they caught my eye.
All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay.
Myself and 2 friends were sent on a Scuba trip by our wives to celebrate our 40th birthdays. After searching for a place to stay we found the Moon Bay Condo. We could not have asked for a better, more welcoming place to stay! It was clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything needed to make the stay enjoyable. As others have mentioned, the owner is extremely helpful and friendly, offering up advice on everything from diving sites to dining options and local activities. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone and can't wait until the next trip down.
This was our 4th stay in the Keys and this condo was the best place we have stayed! The view was amazing! We enjoyed many sunsets and watching the boats! The condo is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was awesome! We love to cook and any utensil or pan that was needed to prepare a meal was available. We even cooked the fish my husband caught off the pier! The owner is very friendly and helpful and has thought of everything to make someone's stay here enjoyable! We are looking forward to our stay again next year!
This was our second stay at this condo and I couldn't have asked for a better trip! The weather was beautiful! On my birthday we went out to snorkel and had dolphins chase down our boat and then surround us! It was amazing! There was even a little baby! Also, while we were snorkeling at the rocks, we saw a sea turtle and I was able to swim with it for a couple of minutes. I won't come down from that for as long as I live! When we returned to the dock the weather turned a little ugly across the bay and we saw a water spout! What a birthday, right!?!
Those are just a few of the exciting things that we encountered on our lovely trip. I could go on and on.
Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful condo. I'm already working on my husband to take me back before the summer is over so you may hear from me soon!
This condo is beautiful, even better than the pictures. The location and views are amazing.
We took our boat from Miami and docked it in the slip provided. It was perfect. The owner is wonderful and very helpful. We are looking forward to going back!
This was a wonderful condo in Key Largo overlooking the Bay. The photos are accurate and the views simply stunning. The condo is fantastically well equipped and was very clean on our arrival.
The owner is friendly, very easy to communicate with and was extremely helpful.
We could not ask for more and we loved our stay and we hope to return.
Just came back from a week of scuba diving in Key Largo with my father-in-law. We were looking for a low key place in Key Largo that had a nice view, was clean and comfortable. This fit the bill and had the best price for what we were after. It had everything we needed - clean, comfortable accommodations, washer/dryer, amazing view of the Bay (probably the best sunsets I've seen in the U.S.) and about a dozen dive shops within a 10 minute drive. Communication, which can often be a dealbreaker, with Jane was great. Emails and phone calls were generally answered within a few minutes, and everything was as described. Pretty much anything you'd need was there - no need to buy toiletries, lines, even towel were included. Would definately recommend this property.
Key Largo is world-renown for its snorkelling and diving experiences. Although Key Largo is in Florida, it has a definate 'island vibe'. There are many things to see and do here.
A binder is located in the condo with many pamphlets describing local attractions and places to eat.
A two-person kayak is stored on site, which you may use in the area (upon request).
