BREATHTAKING OUTER BANKS WATERFRONT CONDO

My family of five recently stayed in this condominium for five nights since we were in town to attend our son's wedding at the NC Aquarium. The unit and area was lovely, and far nicer than any hotel room. I especially enjoyed the view from the deck each morning. I would give the unit five stars, but the expectations of the owners at departure one. Unless you plan on rising before the sun, you will never accomplish all that they require before your expected departure of 10:00 a.m. Additionally please note that this condominium comfortably accommodates four persons, we had to use a blow-up mattress for our fifth.

My husband, myself, and our three daughters spent five nights in this lovely condo. We were visiting the Outter Banks for our son's wedding at the NC Aquarium. This was our first trip to the east coast. Poured rain on the day of the wedding, but the rest of the time we had lovely weather. The location of this condo is AWESOME. Sitting out on the balcony looking at the ocean and boats during breakfast each day was the best part of our trip. This condo is roomy and modern, and easily accommodates four persons (we had to use a blow up mattress for our fifth). The owners of this condo are extremely friendly and even allowed us to check in one night early. It was helpful that they had lots of literature showing places to eat and things to do in the area. I give the property itself five stars!
Now for the negative, and I will be painfully honest. These owners require far too much from the renters on the last day. It was impossible for me to get all the laundry done, floors swept, and dishes washed and put away before our required checkout time and before we needed to be at the airport. (We noticed that the sheets in the second bedroom had not been laundered by the previous renters before we arrived. They must have run out of time also is my guess.) Plus, since the laundry is reds and whiltes I couldn't just do one load. The owners need to have the renters simply start the dishes and washer/dryer, and have the cleaning person put away. This cleaning fee needs to include more than just "disinfect." So, my advice to you is get up before the sun rises to accomplish all the tasks they require before you check out, or you lose your two hundred dollar deposit. :(

The condo is beautifully furnished and is fully equipped. The location is convenient and the view is lovely -- there is a deck in the front overlooking the marina and another one off the master bedroom in the rear with a view of the marsh. We purchased a few groceries and necessities at a supermarket right down the street and we visited the nearby Front Porch Cafe for great coffee and free wifi. The development includes a little clubhouse by the pool that has a nice exercise room upstairs which overlooks the water. The rooms in the unit are very spacious, with high ceilings, fans and good lighting. There is a pair of extra comfy recliner chairs in the living room to sit and read or watch TV.
