You will be surrounded in luxury and comfort at the new luxury La Esquina, Villas of Cerca Del Mar, only 100 meters from the beach. Completed in January 2006, this gated 5 star villa welcomes you as you enter a naturally lush landscaped complex with all the amenities you would expect.

Pez Vela has 3000 spacious square feet of indoor/outdoor living. Located on the top/penthouse/3rd floor level(with elevator). Complete with a private open air/covered dining patio that seats 12+. I also is complete with a private dipping pool/hottub right on the private oversized terrace for perfect indoor/outdoor living.

This quaint complex has a gorgeous 90 foot garden swimming pool complete with lush tropical plants surrounding, lounge chairs and an outdoor luxury shower. Your condo is professionally furnished, offering 3 large bedrooms, a large great room for relaxing, a private terrace off of each bedroom with comfy chairs for reading/napping. It also offers a large, open, teak and well equipped, granite kitchen complete with an adjacent BBQ terrace. This villa also has a laundry room with washer and dryer, and 3.5 full-sized tiled bathrooms.

The open dining room area will comfortably seat 8 adults with additional dining area off of the large terrace adjacent to the great room(where you can sit 8 more!). There is also and additional open air patio on the roof only one flight above. You and your guests can take in the stunning views of the Playa Langosta coastline and spectacular sunsets.

Extensive use of beautiful teak wood adorn all the cabinetry complemented by locally quarried natural stone flooring and beautiful Italian granite counter tops throughout. The beauty and warmth of Pez Vela is only matched by the unobstructed views of the Playa Langosta coastline.

The beach is a short stroll down a garden path and is great for strolling, tide pooling or walking to the lively town of Tamarindo. Playa Langosta is a quiet upscale residential community, but only a 15-20 minute beach walk (or two minute ride) to the lively town of Tamarindo known for its fabulous surfing, dining, shopping and fun. There is also a great surfing beach at Playa Langosta that is about a 5 minute walk from the condo.

La Esquina has beautifully maintained lush grounds and banyan tree that attracts lots of birds for viewing. There is also 24-hour security on the property and secured parking

We live in the San Francisco Bay Area and are outdoor enthusiasts.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2006
Why The Owner chose Playa Langosta

We purchased this property in 2006 after taking several trips to Costa Rica and falling in love with this eco-friendly(and friendly) country. We LOVE Playa Langosta because it is close to EVERYTHING but quiet(but not dead)! We love this small complex for it Moorish architectural influence and it is elegant but understated

What makes this condo unique

Playa Langosta offer several very good restaurants, bars, a grocery store and small quaint hotels that have cocktails and dining. All of these are in walking distance to the condo. There is a great beach steps from the condo that you can tide pool in low tide and the shoreline is just stunning...for those who surf, there is a great break to the south of the condo (about a 5-7 minute walk). This condo offers fantastic indoor/outdoor living at its best. every room has a terrance and there are sturdy cushioned lounge chairs on each. My guess is you will fall in love with this place too.

Beautiful Condo!

We spent a week at this beautiful condo. Everything is as shown in the photos and in the description. There is lots of space and everything you will need. We had a rental car, but really didn't need it. If we return, we'd definitely use taxis instead.

There's a small grocery store nearby where we bought items for making breakfast and snacks/drinks. It was super convenient. For dinners we went into town. Our favorite restaurants were Ttiki and Seasons. Both were delicious and priced appropriately.

The community pool was beautiful and never crowded. The beach is a short walk just across the street.

Great Place to Stay in Langosta

My husband and I recently enjoyed 5 days in this beautiful condo in Langosta. It was just what we wanted to relax in luxury accommodations. The condo is very spacious with a great floor plan for a group rental.The kitchen was modern and fully equipped. The outside space was private and it was nice to cool off in the dipping pool. A perfect spot for an afternoon cocktail.The area was quiet. Everything we needed to enjoy ourselves was there from beach toys to game boards. We definitely recommend this penthouse villa for a stay in the Tamarindo area.

This condo is well appointed, beautifully maintained and managed, secure and conveniently located steps from the beautiful Playa Langosta coastline and a short walk to happening Tamarindo. Perfect for family with small children

I had to write a review because we loved this condo so much. The place is even better than the pix...so spacious and the views from all the terraces are awesome. My husband, 1.5 and 4 yo kids stayed for ten days and the time just flew by. The condo has everything and more that you will need. There is a small convenience/grocery store about a 5 minute walk away which is very helpful if you have little ones. We didn't even rent a car, just walked to the beach or Tamarindo daily. Playa Langosta is very calm and beautiful and only steps away. Sunsets from the terrace, monkeys and beautiful birds right outside your window...welcome to paradise!

Incontestably, Universally AMAZING!

Wouldn't stay anywhere else!  We were there for a romantic getaway and then another time for a great girl's getaway and will be there again.  The description is exactly as you will find it...truly 5 Star.  The village of Tamarindo is quaint with all the amenities you need...great restaurants, gorgeous beaches and friendly helpful locals.  Just steps away from the condo you have beautiful nature walks, every water sport you can imagine...even a local gym.  A day in the life...local fruits for breakfast, a trip to the beach, lunch on the beach and back in time for Margaritas on the deck with an amazing sunset included, then a quick swim in the private pool.  We would highly recommend this experience, the condo has everything you need and then some!  We've even hosted a dinner party for 10+.  Do it now.
