The best view in Cancun, really. The best location in Cancun, really. On the beach and in the heart of everything.
Newly refurbished and refurnished after Hurricane Wilma, the penthouse has new beds, TVs, sofas, dining set, drapes, air conditioning and more.
Open the telescoping sliding glass doors and step onto the balcony of this two-story penthouse. The crashing waves of the Caribbean Sea below you. The sweeping view from Punta Cancun to Punta Nizuc. The trade winds blowing everything around. Nice.
Walk out the back of the lobby and you're on the beach. Dig your toes into the sand, turn left and walk 2 minutes and you're at the Forum By the Sea. Home of The Hard Rock Cafe, Rainforest Cafe, Hagen Dazs, Carlos 'n Charlies, and Coco Bongo. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, or dancing, it's all there.
The loft offers a queen bed and a Jacuzzi. Great place to relax and count the paragliders sailing by. Downstairs is the second bedroom. It has a double and a single bed. The balcony overlooks the lagoon and the hottest nightclubs in Cancun, including Slice's and Dady'O which are right across the street. The main bathroom has wall to wall marble and a window in the shower so you can enjoy a view of the surf and sand all the way to the horizon.
The best view may be from the living room which has the two huge sliding glass doors. A double bed sleeper sofa is situated there. The kitchen has everything you need to cook simple meals and, most importantly, a fridge for keeping those tropical mangoes and papayas fresh for breakfast. Don't worry about cleaning up, maid service is every other day.
This condo is absolutely perfect!!! We had the PH3A penthouse and were so grateful to have the two balconies and had our little lunches there. The view is TO DIE FOR and we appreciated greatly the proximity of the grocery store, the bars and clubs as well as the beach (so beautiful). I will surely be back to this beautiful destination in this beautiful condo. I would definately recommend this place To anyone who goes to cancun.
This unit delivers on vista's. Both the front "L" shaped balcony overlooking the ocean and the rear balcony view of the lagoon make for special pictures. Unfortunately, based on my personnel tastes there were a few area's that didn't live up to the view.
Having to pay for the WiFi on each device you plan on using and getting spotty access at best made it difficult to conduct business in Canada.
Not having access to a phone capable of outgoing calls is in my opinion is downright dangerous to the guests.
Expecting rain, as it was the season, having water seep up thru the tile in the living room took these storms to a new level.
The bedding was clean and the unit was maintained every other day.
Beds were very comfortable.
We went to cancun for a bachelorette weekend trip. The penthouse was exactly as the pictures. You have everything at your door step. We didn't need a cab or anything to go out to eat or go to a bar because everything was so close by. The view was breathtaking would highly recommend it to anyone. Will definitely stay there again!!!
I would give this more than 5 stars if I could!! This condo has the most beautiful view I have ever had! We had sweeping views of the ocean from our living room, kitchen, and bedroom. The condo looks exactly like the pictures, you will have no surprises. The kitchen has minimal supplies so you can cook basic meals. The beach in front of the condo is perfect for jumping waves and playing. If you go North on the beach a little the water is very calm and you can float and relax. There is a bar/snack bar at the pool. The bartender makes great drinks and there are several options for food he can make you. The prices were good. There is lots to do in this general area. We always felt very safe. It is easy to use the bus system here, and there are many taxis outside of the condo. We rented a car from Alamo, their shop is in front of Salvia. Rent the car online, it was $40 a day cheaper than what we were quoted in the shop.
The rental letter did not explain a few things that you need to know
-you can get jugs of water for a fee from the front desk
-housekeeping comes at least every other day..... Don't forget to tip!
-you may get one set of pool/beach towels everyday
-you have a bracelet that you ALWAYS have to wear... So you cannot have friends come to visit you in your condo.
-if you stop at Wal Mart first do NOT buy beer in glass bottles! They almost took our beer away when they got our luggage and groceries fom the shuttle.
-there is NO hair dryer
-there is bath towels in the unit
-Bar soap is provided
**My only caution is that this condo is located in the heart of the party zone. The music on the beach started about 10:30 am and then the nightclub music goes until 3 or 4 in the morning! The bedroom that faces the lagoon side can be very noisy! There is the loud nightclub music going and lots of police sirens. My husband and I were okay with the noise because we had such busy days that we quickly fell asleep.
I was very impressed with the owner. I wrote to him late one evening saying that the loft air conditioner was not working and neither was the can opener. Early the next day repairmen were there to fix the air conditioner and I had a new can opener! You may rest assured that any issues will be resolved quickly!
This is a great place to stay. Great location, great condo, great experience. Jeff was very helpful and helped out every way he could. I would recommend this place to anyone trying to have a nice place with great location
We had the pleasure to stay in Jeff's penthouse for the last week in July, 2013 and had a wonderful time. The condo was as beautiful as the pictures showed it with a large living/dining room with two walls of windows. The bedroom with twin beds was perfect for our two kids and the upstairs master suite/loft was beautiful. The views were truly stunning with walls of glass on two side and large windows on the third side. We cooked most of our own food and made full use of the furnished standard kitchen.
Jeff was very helpful in steering us to more reputable tourism companies. We did a day tour to Chichen Itza, another day to Xplor (a really, really cool eco-park, look it up) and 1/2 day snorkeling. Sea turtles were nesting at night on the beach...all can be checked off our bucket lists. One note, the condo is in the nightclub district and is next door to the Hard Rock Cafe and across the street from another club. Jeff was very honest with us, prior to our booking the condo, concerning the spill over music. That being said, we adjusted and really enjoyed our stay.
