Ahwatukee House Rental Photos and Description
House, 2 Bedrooms + Office, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)
Guests have told us their stay was very comfortable and enjoyable, like visiting friends, only the friends aren't there! Just leaving them to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere which is quite a bit larger than a typical condo in the area. “SIX PALMS” is tucked away in a lovely, quiet community on the eastern edge of South Mountain preserve (miles of hiking and bike trails within walking distance) yet close to all attractions – AZ Grand Resort, downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, ASU, shopping malls, theatres and restaurants. Easy walking distance to our four private community pools, two pools are heated year round and each pool has a hot tub for soothing soaks. Our favorite is the pool on the hill where a few more steps take you to a magnificent view of the valley with Phoenix and the airport in the distance.
Our front entrance welcomes you to a saltillo tile dining area, view of the atrium, and a sunken, comfortable and relaxing living room. Continue on to a fully equipped kitchen with a large colorful “old style” Mexican tile counter. Adjoining the kitchen is a carpeted den with cable TV and wood burning fireplace. Short steps take you to the inviting master bedroom suite with queen size bed, walk in closet and Mexican tiled bathroom with large sunken tub, shower, and access to totally screened atrium. There is a guest bedroom, also with a queen size bed, and TV. The second full bathroom is nearby, also an office with a futon which opens to double bed size.
From the den, the doors open to a pleasant patio, ideal for dining al fresco. The putting green and water fountain, four of the “six palms” and other greenery complete the picture.
We're sure you will love this gracious home as much as we do!

About Joan A Brown
Our Arizona home was purchased in 1999 when we retired and decided to divide our time between Long Island, NY (lots of family here) and Phoenix where our son had recently moved with his wife and two young daughters. The granddaughters are now grown (one in Scottsdale, one in Boston) and our son and wife have moved to Dallas!
We've had a grand time over the years traveling back and forth between the east and west, both driving cross country and flying, enjoying our Phoenix home and all Arizona has to offer. Furnishing and decorating was done slowly over the years, always trying to keep the southwest feel, and it just recently feels complete.
Lifes changes prevent us from visiting AZ as often as we'd like, which creates a win/win situation - we enjoy our AZ home occasionally - and so do our guests.
