We have fallen in love with this amazing Virginia peninsula with the 'sea' side (Atlantic Ocean) on the East and the Chesapeake on the 'bay' or West side and we hope that you grow to love this area too as our guest! Cape Charles and the Bay Creek area offer a safe environment with quiet, calming beauty. Although many visitors come to Bay Creek for premier golfing, the many other outdoor activities satisfy our needs (the beaches, 2 pools, water sports, fishing, biking, etc.).

Located on Virginia's beautiful and historic Eastern Shore on the Chesapeake Bay, the area offers golfing, beaches, water sports, fishing, bird watching, kite flying and kite boarding, bicycling, shopping, and exploring the Victorian Town of Cape Charles. It is 35 minutes to travel to Virginia Beach, 75 minutes to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, and about 60 minutes to travel north to Chincoteague. The Norfolk Airport is 45 minutes away and the Newport News Airport is 60 minutes away. The condominium is located inside Bay Creek Resort, which is a gated community with 2 Signature Golf Courses designed by Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The Signature Courses were voted 12th in the U.S. by readers of Golf World Magazine in 2010. Cape Charles and the Bay Creek Marina are minutes away offering restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries.

Other historical and recreational sites near the Cape Charles area include the county seat of Eastville, which boasts the oldest continuous court records in the US dating from 1632. These records can be viewed by visiting the Eastville Courthouse. The Eastville Court Green also has a Court Green with original buildings from the 1700's including a Courthouse, the Old Clerk's Office, and a Debtor's Prison. Kiptopeake Park offers a boat ramp, lighted fishing pier, 4.2 miles of hiking and biking trails, beach and children's programs.

The well organized layout separates the king master bedroom/private bath from the 2 queen bedrooms with a family room/kitchen/dining area in the center. An added bonus to this rental is the flexibility of using a pull-out queen sleeper and/or 2 twin chair pull-outs in the family room. The living area has a flat screen tv and there is a tv in the master bedroom. From May 1 through October 31, upgraded digital stations and the Starz/Encore Package and wifi are provided. During the remainder of the year, it is available by advance request at the cost of the service. In addition, a full-size washer and dryer are located behind the well-equipped kitchen. A two-car garage is also provided for guest use. As an added bonus, two adult bikes (his and hers) and 3 kids bikes of various sizes (2 boy's bikes and 1 girl's bike) are available for our guests.

Wonderful! Everything about Bay Creek, Cape Charles and the condo was wonderful. The little touches like soaps, towels, and even a MVP card to Food Lion reminded us why VRBO is the way to go. One of the cleanest, most beautiful condos we have ever stayed at, from the quality of the cookware to the Ralph Lauren pillows, this was Top Notch! Thank you for having us. Perfect for a young family to a retiree.

Wonderful condo

Thank you for such a wonderful condo. Plenty of room and the little touches were greatly appreciated. Within an hour our daughter found the princess comforter & our 14 year old son was playing darts. Me, I found the bottle of wine within moments of being here. Thanks again! We, my husband especially, got some well deserved rest.

The condo was very clean and had everything we would need to feel at home. It was very comfortable, and the owners were very nice. They also provided any information we would need to enjoy the amenities in and around the town. The beach was very nice and clean with calm waves. The golf courses were the best we ever played. Palmer course was more playable than Nicklaus. Nicklaus likes bunkers too much. These are two legitimate championship golf couses with mint condition. People seldom play at these courses which helps maintain well. The condo complex and the entire town were very quiet with just few people. We went fishing almost every evening.

If you like isolation and peace on your vacation, this is the place. If you like to meet new people and hang out at bars, this may not be for you.

Everything we needed was in this condo. Very well equipped kitchen. Lots of space, you could almost set up a bedroom in the walk-in closets. Lots of little things that you would not expect in a vacation rental. Its the little things that are well appreciated. Bicycles, dart board, games, movies, supplies, and a very, very nice item that I was just blown away by. The perfect welcoming gift! Thank You to Mrs. K!
