Calypso Cove - Can't wait to go back!
My husband and I stayed at Calypso Cove in March 2013. We were extremely pleased with the house, location and the staff at Destination St. John. The house itself has a nice kitchen with adequate cooking tools & dishes. One bedroom is on the main floor and the other downstairs, but you have to go outside to get to it—so it would be perfect for couples traveling together or a family with older children that needs a little separation/space. The screened in porch was a great place to relax after a long day or to start your morning with a view of the cove. We used the kayak a few evenings and even spotted a cute little shark while in the cove. The location was very convenient for us. It was a short drive to town and to the beaches and we were really able to explore the island. If you’re looking for a great view, you may want to choose another house/condo higher up, but if you’re looking for a quiet spot right on the water, I would definitely recommend Calypso Cove. Everyone at Destination St. John was great to work with too. Booking was easy and hassle free and having someone meet us at the dock relieved our stress about driving and finding the house. We can’t wait to go back!
